Really tasty brunch - had the veggie breakfast with extra hash browns. You make your own toast at the toaster and there's a selection of jams etc. The coffee is lovely too. Service was great apart from one person (potentially the manager or supervisor?) Came across quite rude and standoffish. Especially when we were enquiring about a table and also asked to split the bill. Perhaps he was just busy or preoccupied... My top tip would be to get there before 11am, as the queue started to build up!

One of the best breakfast in london. The shakashoka is the right way it should be. When you come on Sunday be there exactly at 08:50 or you won’t have a place to seat.

Some of the best brunch I've found in England. No jokes. The only thing to consider is to get there early as they can be completely full during peak times. If you don't feel too hungry they even have the option of making your own toast with self service toasters. The coffee is not bad at all either add they roast their own coffee..... As overhead one Saturday.

Thank you Imran for your fantastic service! Our Mexican eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale with side of sausages was just enough to hit that good food spot! Hollandaise sauce was spot on! The flourless chocolate cake was that melt in your mouth type gooey goodness... I highly recommend Burnt toast cafe! Great work guys! We’ll be back

A hidden gem in Brixton village. It’s a tiny place with a few table and chairs. Friendly service, just make sure to avoid going on weekends as the to both sit and get served is in the hours. We came back mid week for a more relaxed breakfast, and the butterscotch covered french toast didn’t disappoint. And their coffee is excellent.

Small Cafe' in buzzling Brixton Village. It's probably one of the most popular brunch spots in the area and it's clear why. Their food it's absolutely incredible and so is the hospitality. Carol, the manager, is an absolute sweetheart and I could spend hours chatting to her. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious and well presented but my favourite has to be their French Toast. Moist and with the most delicious toppings is possible one of the best I've ever tried. Disclaimer: queue might get long on a weekend but your patience will be rewarded!

came here for brunch after always seeing it busy. Only outside seating, be warned, but the food is excellent and the coffee was decent too. you do your own toast which feels slightly gimmicky but at least you get hot toast. great place, will be going back as pancakes looked incedbile

I often have breakfast and coffee here. The staff are friendly and efficient. The breakfasts are delicious. Pancakes awesome and everything is generously portioned. The coffee is great. They make most of their own bread and it’s always fresh and tasty. They only take cash, so come prepared. And also be prepared to wait for a table as even during the week, they are busy. But well worth a visit when wondering through Brixton Village.
