Nice pub with a good selection of beers. The Sunday beef roast was good pub food, but the beef was overcooked and leathery. Mac and cheese and the other bits of the roast were lovely though. Took almost half an hour to get there even though there was more staff than customers in the evening.
Great atmosphere good food old school vibs grateful staff all day every day and night if you want excellent food larger and great conversations come Tuesday to Saturday when Mara is working believe me you will leave with a smile on your face trust me come and see for yourself I don't normally leave reviews but this is a special one just for this iv never had an excellent time in a public bar but this one is special all the best to the bar staff and the chef. A great place with very reasonably priced drinks, and good quality (very tasty) well-priced food. A nice open, welcoming atmosphere too, without pretentiousness. Best pub in the area
