We had the best South Indian food after coming to the UK. They make the food as per your taste ( spice level). I would definitely recommend you all to try.

We wanted to eat South Indian and we thought to give it a try here. And believe me, the food was amazing. We had squid roast, chicken 65, chicken biryani, parotta and Chicken varthuarachathu. It was super delicious. We couldn't eat full and had to pack as the quantity was also in a good amount. I will totally recommend this place as they serve the dish as per your taste.

Excellent Sadhya.. My only gripe was that the food was served cold. Still giving the restaurant full 5 stars because everything tasted delicious.. Service could improve, but again I got the impression this was a family run business and managing a Sadhya once a year is hard with the sheer number of dishes to serve. Have to go back for the other Kerala dishes, but in the meantime highly recommended!

I searched for Kerala restaurants in London and Taste of Cochin was one of the recommendation and it seemed like a reasonable place. I had ordered a parota and a mutton dish (a Beef roast equivalent but with Mutton and not beef), boy I was surprised with the taste of the dish. It was authentic and delicious. The restaurant manager/owner recommended me the dish and also engaged in giving company since I came there alone. So I had a heartful dish and a pleasant conversation. Good experience on the whole. I would recommend people to visit this place and try them out.

Visited here with my husband on his recommendation. We are both vegan and we both love Indian food and there are lots of vegan options that are a little different to many restaurants, as the food is Keralan. Everything we had was delicious and the portions very generous. We both particularly loved the poori stuffed with channa and the masala dosa. We also had a tarka dhal and tomato curry which were also great. We are not local to the area but we will definitely be back!

Taste of Cochin is our go to place when we crave for “Naadan food”. Their fish curry is always the best, just like how we prepare in Kerala. Menu has good variety of food including a bit of sea foods. I highly recommend rice and fish curry with mango. This place has nice ambience paired with soulful Malayalam music as well. A dinner in the evening with nostalgic Malayalam song and “choru with meencurry” is how I unwind. I highly recommend this place!

A gorgeous little place with delicious food. Never seen a biriyani with a full egg in it, but what’s not to love?! Portions are generous and kept the big eaters of our party happy. The only thing I could possibly suggest was that the vegetables could’ve done with some spice. Lovely guy looking after us, not intrusive but watching out for us so we weren’t looking around to catch his eye. He took lots of group photos of us and even provided candles and plates for my surprise birthday cake one of my friends brought along. How sweet is that? Wish I’d asked his name.
