Amazing food, the lemon cheesecake is to die for! so are the fried chicken bites, the chicken burger, the veggie burger, and I could go on! Went to Archway on several occasions just to eat at this amazing place, totally worth the tube ride off the touristy places! And it's great value for money for such an expensive city as London!
We were staying at a nearby hotel and found this restaurant by chance. The food is amazing and I'd recommend to everyone. So much choice and so fresh. We live in Liverpool and there's lots of good veggie and vegan places to eat but got to say I wish there was a Loving Hut up here!
The absolute best place to go for vegan and vegetarian Chinese food, or just damn nice Chinese food that happens to be meat-free. The staff are really nice and friendly, if a little God bananas. They're happy to recommend regulars' favourites, or things that might appeal to you specifically. Great, great place.
Had a (lunch) buffet here with a friend. The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet to have a quiet lunch. My vegan friend eats here quite regularly, but it was my first time eating here. I'm not veg(etari)an, but the food choice was quite varied and tasted really good. It wasn't too expensive too considering that you could take more than one serving. The lady behind the counter was quite watchful of those who topped up their plates tho haha. Overall, had a good meal. Recommended.
Visited recently with a group of friends, it too a fairly long time for all of the group to arrive and decide what to order but the staff were pleasant and never pressured us into ordering quickly.
We ordered 8 dishes from across the menu. The braised aubergine was particularly good. The crispy chilli 'beef' had a nice sauce but I couldn't taste or see any beef strips, it was just like crunchy strips of fried batter.
The other dishes were really good, and the fake egg (in the rice) and fake meats/prawns in the other dishes were really flavoursome.
Food was served quickly - 5/10 minute wait for each course - the restaurant was about half full at the time.
The food was good value at ~£100 for 8 dishes and drinks.
This place used to have a buffet and I'd love to see it return so I could try more dishes.
Wow! The loving hut is a vegans paradise for Chinese food. The variety was amazing and the taste was incredible. Service was fabulous, and the food arrived very quickly too. A lovely place for couples but larger parties would also accommodate here really well. Can't wait to visit again to try something different.
Ordered some takeaway last night as I was in the area. I had the mixed starter, *chicken with ginger and spring onion, and the *lamb in black bean sauce. Everything was really tasty save for the sesame toast which we felt was a but lack luster and the seaweed which tasted a bit greasy but everything else was spot on and I would definitely recommend a visit/order. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and the staff were friendly, it's collection only so unfortunately not close enough to be a go to for me but if you live in the area your in luck as you have a very nice veggie Chinese on your doorstep, so go enjoy!
We couldn’t have chosen a better vegan restaurant to go for dinner tonight. We had a great surprise. Not just the prices are very reasonable but the quality of the food is amazing, such a good presentation and taste is so worth it.
Want to mention the place was absolutely clean and the customer service was impeccable. Lovely people working there.
Thank you so much, we’ll definitely come back again soon.
Food was amazing, laksa was huge and delicious, took me back to Singapore.
Great value for money too! Staff friendly and wait patiently. Will be coming back, and will be bringing more people.
Just FYI, one of the reviews said this was an ‘all you can eat’ is it not, at least not at 20:00 on a Wednesday. But like i said the quality of food is incredible for the low price. And the laksa was so big I couldn’t eat another thing anyway.
I also had the brown rice tea (Genmaicha) had a beautiful toasty flavour to it. And the pot was big enough for a few full cups of it.
Amazing little place hidden in Archway.
The food was nice lots of options. The sesame toast was my favourite. Service was slow with taking our orders but the food came out fast. I didn't feel like the hygiene was of a super high standard and that could be improved but overall its a nice spot for vegan food.
Good vegetarian place to go out with excellent food and service at reasonable price. Parking is available and free in the evenings and at the weekends. Transport is quite convenient as it on the bus routes and close by train stations.
I am a hardcore meat eater but i tought I could go fully vegan if food was like that. Very convinsing fake meats and the food is quite filling wich tells me that it contains all nutrients my body needs.I would trully reccomend this place
Really good vegan Chinese in North London, small and quick service. Issues I've encountered are two different rice portions when ordering exactly the same thing, portion size differing between mains and paying £3.00 for 30 pieces of chips (all but 3 on plate shown)
Such incredible food coming out of a small, unassuming restaurant! I've always walked past this restaurant, even back when I was a kid like 20 years ago, and never thought too much of it - but I regret that! I can't describe how genuinely tasty and filling the food in Loving Hut is, it's no wonder they've been where they have for so long. You could easily fool even the hardiest of meat eaters here with Loving Hut's fresh, tasty, and delightful food. The food comes out super quick, and is so cheap for the portion size you get. Highly recommended!
