Omg!! The momos!!! 😍 they were the tastiest momos I have had since I came to london. Also, the indian food here is just like it is in india.... otherwise the other indian places are just disappointing. Mango chutney was fab!
My only regret is ordering it online, I missed on having the momos steaming hot!
The best authentic Indian food in Acton!! Highly recommend!
The most amazing food in London! My recommendations:
Curry: masala curry - it tastes fresh because they have a natural recipe (unlike other shops which use loads of oil and sugar!)
Nan: garlic and chili nan
Starter: Taj mixed platter
Warning: once you’ve tried Taj you can’t go back to other Indian places.
Reasonable price!
OK it’s at the end of my road but I would travel a long way to eat Taj curry. It’s such a family favourite we HAVE to order a post-holiday takeaway immediately on return. We love their chicken tikka balti and aubergine curries. Attention to detail is excellent as in the naan bread variety and other quality sides that are often afterthoughts in other curry restaurants. Go and enjoy.
This is a lovely authentic Indian restaurant, the dishes are very close to homemade and I have never had a bad meal or cause to complain in all the years I have been coming here. The price is extremely reasonable and coupled with the fact that you can bring your own alcoholic drinks it really becomes very good value for money. If you are looking for good quality authentic food this is the place come, it may not be flamboyant but the service, cleanliness and food quality, range and portions are second to none.
Absolutely amazing food!! Did not know that restaurants like this still existed.
I ordered a garlic king prawn and a chicken tikka Jalfrezi with a chicken tikka biryani and garlic naans. The food was fresh and amazingly cooked.
And the service was top tier.
Definitely a goto restaurant if you live anywhere in London and even if you live far it is 100% worth the travel.
Thank you TAJ !!
Amazing food, great service. BYOB and the price was fair. Butter chicken with a side of chopped chillis, pilau rice and a peshawari for £14.
The restaurant is quiet and cozy, and the meal was homely and generous. We ordered chicken Tikka biryani and shashlik chicken with mushroom rice. We got fresh complementary raita and plates were around 10£. Prime spot, will come back again.
Amazing place!! With a wonderful variety of food and great dishes 🌟 thank you
It was a wonderful experience to be able to dine in, normally we always do takeout. The food was absolutely delicious and it was definitely worth the price. The place was very clean and the gentleman who served us very friendly and kind.
Amazing lamb bhuna and keema and garlic naans. Lovely clay tandoor oven for the bread. We'll done chaps and you can rake your own 🍺
