Kilikya Mile End

I couldn't recommend this place more. We'd been looking for a good Turkish restaurant to dine at for a while, and only happened to stumble across this one while going for a run along the canal. It's just off Mile End Road but is so peaceful in comparison. It's well-decorated and has a balcony to dine outside in the summer months that looks over the canal. The service was extremely good (almost fine-dining standard). The food itself was delicious and generous portions - the bread in particular was extremely tasty. We're planning to go again for sure!

Food was amaaaaaaaaazing! Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Veggie friend loved the moussaka! It's her favourite dish in the area 👍🏽 Staff were attentive and service was prompt. Tucked a bit out of the way in a fairly unusual location (on the ground floor of one of the new build developments next to the canal), this restaurant is a great find. Excellently cooked (and absolutely enormous) mixed grill at a very reasonable price, in comfortable surroundings. One of the best choices in the Mile End area (not that there is currently a vast amount of competition).

Fantastic setting overlooking the Regents Canal and Mile End Park with a large outside decking for dining (plus close to the Palm Tree pub). Friendly and efficient service. The food is delicious and has a good choice for vegetarians as well as meat eaters. Reasonable prices too. I've eaten there a few times now and will certainly be back.

The restaurant overlooks the canal and Mile End park giving it pleasant views on a nice evening, but also making it a little difficult to get to. The waiters were attentive, if perhaps a little inexperienced, and happy for us to eat our meal at a relaxed pace. The portions were generous (the sharing platter starter advertised as for two happily stretched to four, especially given the large amounts of warm Turkish bread), the food tasted good and was well presented and the Rioja was excellent.
