My favourite place in the entire world. This review is entirely based on the fact that I studied at this school and ate here everyday. In love with their soups. Their soups on a cold day was a blessing. I practically came here on my day offs to have their soups.
Lovely place, lots of memories as I studied in the same college. Me and my friends would love fresh flaky croissants made in-house by the Chefs, the freshly made coffee. but the best part was the daily sandwiches and hearty soups on offer. 10/10 for the bread served with it. The menu changed daily, so we were always in for a surprise. Would definitely go back for more soup, coffee, croissants and pastries.
This cafe which is attached to the Le Cordon Bleu cooking school has a lovely range of baked goods on offer. The macaroons at 4£ each may seem a bit expensive, but they are so delicious. Flavours change daily, so you never know what to expect.
They serve tea cakes by the slice or you can buy a whole pound cake to take home with you.
They have both indoor seating and outdoor seating (in a courtyard behind the building)
They do offer some savoury eats too, but since I've only ever been here after 6pm, I haven't had the chance to try any of it (they make limited quantities that run out quite quickly)
I can however vouch very heavily for the cakes / pastries and other sweet bites on offer.
The coffees are perfect to take away and they are quite obliging in serving you coffee, even if you arrive 2 minutes before they close (unlike a lot of other cafes in this area)
I expected the cafe of one of the top culinary schools in the world to be teeming with life, yet the place was eerily empty and it rarely receives much attention on the blogosphere. Time had come to explore this hidden gem in Bloomsbury Square. Location: Cafe Le Cordon Bleu, Covent Garden, London
Cakes are beautifully displayed and the lemon tart is divine. They also serves sandwiches which are slightly more expensive but also bigger in size. My favourite snack to order is the bacon and mustard bread because they warm it up and it becomes crunchy but still moist inside
Came in since it's close to the British museum and Google said it wasn't busy. It was a quick line to get through, they were friendly, and the croissant was absolutely delicious. The people who dined with me really enjoyed their lattes as well. Highly recommend!
I went in early one morning for breakfast and had a really great time. It was clean, peaceful and quiet. I really enjoyed my breakfast here and the staff is nice. Also the croissants are HUGE, biggest croissant I have ever had. I recommend.
Staying at a hotel near the British museum.
Extremely polite service and excellent food. There was an olive skinned lady and an Afro Carribean gentleman who were very busy with the previous orders but took a moment out of their tasks to acknowledge me and reassure me they would be as quick as possible.
I had a mocha and the eggs, salmon and baguette which was lovely and fresh and at a reasonable price.
thought the tarts and cakes would be expensive (considering their sky high class prices) but surprised to find out that it was reasonably priced! and delicious too. the only downside is the interior.. seemed too effortless for a cafe and not-so-comfy chairs.
Came here for their croissant but been told I need to come here very early otherwise it’s gone very soon. The other dessert are great anyway
This is one of my favourite coffee haunts. If your hungry it doesn't hurt to be a place that chefs chef at. You can get some great nibbles, or mains. Lots of outdoor space without traffic
Great quality pastries, though the selection is limited. Atmosphere is more of a university cafe, but they have A/C!
The food and coffee are arguably the best in England. Not to mention the desserts which are creative and amazing to look at. When you bite into them they give such a variety of flavour it's just great. The service was top notch and I was even given a free macaroon because my eggs didn't come out at the same time as my family's. I really appreciated the gesture and the macaroon was nice too. I would have taken pictures but I ate it all.
Great coffee, very tasty breakfast, pastries are delicious Glad we found it, well worth the visit.
This place is close to the British museum and looks very cozy and clean. I ate flat white and lemon tart. Tart was excellent! This cafe is connected to a cooking or sth academy building. I think this is suported by the academy and that is why the tart was so good.
