I noticed this place was marked permanently closed, but Just Eat still seems to be taking orders 🤷🏾‍♀️. Pleasantly surprised with this place. I ordered 2 pork Gyros Hotbox (with extra chicken) and a chicken Gyros Hotbox. Each box was £8.75 (£1.95 for the extra chicken)Which consisted of some bread, some chips, salad, sauces and meat/s. The food tasted nice and it came on time but the chunks in the salad were cut too big, they put both sauces in 1 container, which was a bit odd, they also put the sauce container in the box, which took up a fair amount of space. The chips and salad on the bottom of the box with the meat on top. I liked it and will probably order from here again.

Nice gyros wrap actually, although I didn’t expect the pork to come in big chunks but hey - still good. Oregano chips had hardly any oregano but the chips were still nice. They sent mayo when I ordered souvlaki which upset me (hate mayo)

Really good souvlakis! They never seem to be open during the day, but in the evening. Call first before going.

I remember showing disinterest on this place last summer while we were walking down Acre Lane to lunch, due to the less-appealing exterior – it can look like either a hobbyist shop (think Hornby) or hardware store. So, on a rainy day by winter, locking my bike just opposite, I re-read its menu and ordered The Classic – flavoursome! The meat tender, with deceivingly light tzatziki, enough thinly-cut fresh vegetables anchoring the tasty fries wrapped in lightly grilled pita – unhurriedly prepared, I thought. Had to come back for The Lamb few weeks later; this time, it became apparent the meat portions are small (or, the earlier cycling to blame). Still, would happily visit again soon, despite somewhat being forced to stare at the odd mural overlaying the comical orange wall paint.

Great wee place with alot going for it. Clean well presented shop, incredibly friendly and easy going staff, the food was delicious, freshly prepared and keenly priced. The homemade tzatziki and chips were stand out. Vegetarian options also. Give it a go you will not be disappointed.

Just went! OMG delicious. I had an unfortunate accident on way home food fell out of bag, so think of using plastic bags for those cycling from restaurant. Food was so so so good and really good value!

This is a lovingly engineered souvlaki from attentive and friendly staff. The pork was well cooked and juicy and almost every element was well balanced. It's great to have a place like this in Brixton. There is room for improvement: 1) There should be more chips in each wrap. There were half a dozen. In Greece, they're a significant part. 2) The bread could be made on the premises. This isn't a deal breaker, but it would be a nice touch. 3) Despite what other reviewers say, £6.50 is too much for a souvlaki. I'm not suggesting a 2 euro price tag like in Greece, but there's actually not that much food for the money and they do slap on a service charge if you sit in. For the portion and the type of food, and if you look at how much is charged at other souvlaki places in London, the price should be dropped by a pound or so.

Look no further than Mikos for a perfect souvlaki lunch or supper. Very fast service, tasty local craft beer, good value for money, and hands down the best chips in London.
