Excellent food and customer service and a brilliant model! Would definite recommend x
one of my favourite restaurants had my wedding reception there always the same level of service and really love the ethos behind this place
Walking along Regents Canal is all about hopping from one pitstop to another. Towpath Cafe is positively spilling with people these days - they had to find space on a berth set up along the riverbank. You'd be hard-pressed to find a seat at Waterline Bar that lies just beside it either. But a few minutes to the east along Regent Canal lies a quiet little restaurant on the opposite bank. Waterhouse Restaurant is accessible over Kinglands Road to the south bank of Regents Canal. It's where you can get a burger with onion rings and chips for just £6 - the price of a slice of cake and cappuccino at Towpath Cafe. And it's a full service restaurant (with proper tables and chairs in case you are wondering) to boot. Now that I've
Great food, Great service and all for a brilliant cause.
This place is fantastic place. But the charity commission should invest more to let the the menu be with more options. There use to be more options but the reduced it. Also they put the price up which is really annoying :( All because of the commission! Otherwise manager n everyone else were great. The commission please invest more! Also make the meat halal, its cheaper!
Great food, very good value- typically around £7 for a main course. Decent portion sizes, lovely canal side location, and a great project- teaching life skills to local young people through apprenticeship in the restaurant. Also craft beer, good coffee and nice wine! And quiet enough for a business lunch
Very good restaurant along the canal. Delicious leek soup!
Very accommodating during a busy Xmas
Lunch party to make me a lovely Spinach & Lentil soup on the fly. This small thing meant a lot. Very welcoming waitresses and chef, will be looking for a reason to visit here another time.
Unfortunately, I devoured my soup by the time I finished this review!
We had a wedding reception last Friday and it was a huge success ;the chefs and catering team deserve enormous credit.
The food was of a very high standard. The manager and the staff providing the service were very helpful and considerate.
Many thanks to every one for their part in the great day in this wonderful venue.
Best wishes-Trevor
Fabulous local gem that I am embarrassed to say I have not taken enough advantage of. Went here with the in laws... Altho we were a tad unimaginative and all had the burger!!! It was very tasty... If a tad overcooked for me however such a lovely ethos, staff and location I will definitely be going back again soon!!!! Love it!!!! I would probably have given it 5 stars however I feel it would be a tad dishonest but really respect the whole business model and staff really were lovely!!!
What qn q amazing location. Lunch over looking the canal was very peaceful. I will be going there again. The chefs are in training so the food is fresh qnd good quality. I will be going again. A go to place to meet friends for lunch.
Lovely restaurant that is tucked away on the canal with nice views over the canal. It has very polite and friendly waiting staff, delicious food, a nice atmosphere and good prosecco! If you are in the area, definitely eat here!
Fantastic for a cheap lunch if you're around, the canal side seating is perfect when it's a bit warmer. I would note that the food can take a little while longer but almost always worth the wait, at that price.
The starters and desert were amazing (the chilli paneer is the best thing I have tasted for ages) but they are really let down by the slow service. When we visited it was far from full but there was long gaps between courses – I think they will massively struggle if the place was full.
Their main courses are good. but don’t live up to the standard set by the starter (which admittedly is very high).
Rating: 4 despite the slow service just because the paneer was that good. :D
