Dhonia Indian Cuisine. Great meal, everything freshly prepared and very tasty. Great service, very good value for money , spotless and faultless. We will be going back and think this is a great local restaurant.

An amazing restaurant. The best Chicken Jalfrazi I've ever had. They didn't cheat by adding loads of sauce, it was all well marinated and fresh.
Consistently excellent food. Like some of the other reviewers we are lucky to be local to Dhonia. It's the most consistently great Indian take away I've used, anywhere. I always phone and then collect the food; normally it takes 20 minutes. It's also very good value. Strongly recommended.
I have eaten here numerous times, and am very privileged that it's only a 5 minute walk from my flat.

Only downside is that the spiciest curry is not the hottest I've ever had. They should introduce a 'specially extra hot' dish for those occasions when feeling particularly challenged.
My favourite local Indian.
Delicious authentic taste, good portion size, and half the price of Yak & Yeti (the other local) and not as rich and heavy. Doesn't feel like such a sin!

Really delicious authentic food. The staff are really nice and attentive. Tucked away 5mins from Finsbury park station. Definitely worth the visit. Many other Indian restaurant locally but Dhonia is definitely better than the rest. The prawn masala is a really stand out dish.
Live three minutes from this place and after my first take-out this evening it will become my Indian of choice - food fresh and tasty and well priced. They should probably consider some interior decoration improvements as no one ever seems to eat in the restaurant itself - a poor advert for some rather good nosh.

I've never been disappointed by their take-always. The food is always freshly made and really delicious and arrives piping hot and on time. They often include freebies such as papadums or salad.
Perfect delivery. Ordered Onion Bhaji, King Prawn Puri, Mixed Starter, Jalfrezi, Special Fried Rice, Poppadoms, and Bombay Aloo. They made the jalfrezi extra hot (the way we asked for it), which was great! I loved the sweet chilli sauce that came with the poppadoms too. This is our new curry house now.
I'm not the biggest fan of Indian food, but I can eat at this place every day. It's just great! The best Indian food I've ever tried!

The place could do with more custom though. Not that there wasn't a good atmosphere. The service was prompt and witty. But it would be a shame to lose this place (I've only been once and want to go again).
