This might be a controversial review but this pub is a whole experience. The place is full of old pictures and artifacts and it has been open since 80s so you feel like you’re time traveling. They have a no mobile phone police but it’s alright, you can use it. The landlord is grumpy but you’ll get it when you go - he’s there for more than 30 years! They have a good selection of beers and ciders, few spots to sit inside and four tables outside if it’s a sunny day. Local pub, not hyped, good for a beer with friends.

Great pub on a quiet side street. Very traditional and old school. Good cask ales. Highly recommend!

🚇 Knightsbridge 🍺 £7.00 Adnams Dry Hopped Lager ❤️ This pub is like a box of chocolates. . The Nags Head is located on tranquil Kinnerton Street at the northern end of Belgravia. Getting here is easy, Knightsbridge Tube is just a five minute walk away. . This pub or to be precise the owners are infamous for being rude to unsuspecting punters who have visited this boozer. So here’s my take on visiting The Nags Head. . This pub has two bars, a bar at the front and a sunken bar down some stairs at the side of the servery. The front bar is unusually set at seating height which I liked. The walls and every available space are filled and covered in bric-a-brac and memorabilia. If you get the chance, it’s worth having a nose around to explore some of the more quirky stuff. . As this pub is independent the beer choice was varied. I thought I’d sample a new beer to me, Adnams Dry Hopped Lager. My pint was nice enough but at £7 made it the most expensive pint in Belgravia! The food options here are sandwiches and cheese boards, there is a menu but it has no prices on it. Just a note on paying, there is a £15 minimum spend if using a card. Oh and don’t ask for tap water unless you want to wind up the bar staff, many punters have ended up with a flea in their ear for such a request. . I visited here with my brother and nephew, we arrived around 3pm and the pub had few punters in sat around the bar. I did my homework before I visited and was aware of the Guv’nor’s reputation for being cranky. To be fair, he was good as gold with us and we had a bit of banter with him around how to pay. I heard many stories about how rude the service can be but I guess we caught him on a good day. The soundtrack was 60’s hits and the overall ambiance was very enjoyable. Another note, no using your phone or your out the door, I stealthily took a few photos when he wasn’t looking 😀. . You have to visit this pub but I can’t guarantee what type of experience your going to have. Personally, I really enjoyed it. My only negative was the price point so be prepared to spend a few quid. . ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 04.11.22

Definitely a quirky independent pub located in the back mewses of Belgravia. It was not too busy Sunday afternoon when visited, very laid back and had the sense of a gone era, old wood paneling and random artifacts festooning the space. Old rock and roll music was playing. The owner was there, seemed a little grumpy but that added to the ambience I think. Note it’s cash only if less than £15. There are three levels to the pub a ground, below ground and an upper area where the restrooms are, be aware if physically challenged. There was seating in n the front too. Beers and ales were of an average selection, but ambience was definitely cool and worth a visit for a eclectic old school public house! A fair stop on a pub crawl in the area for sure not sure I’d have more than a pint here though. High 3’s out of 5. P.s do not use mobile phones inside, there was a sign … I’d not want to argue with the guy there.

After reading the mixed reviews we thought we had to try this place for ourselves and glad we did. Couldn't fault the service and there was a decent selection of drinks too, especially considering the space. I'm glad the other reviews prewarned us about the £14 minimum card spend so that wasn't a surprise but I do find it annoying this day and age. Some of the reviews comment on the price being expensive but considering you're in the heart of knightsbridge, seconds away from Gordon Ramsey's Michelin star restaurant, surrounded my millionaires and posh shops, I didn't think £7 for a pint was unreasonable. We loved the interior and the choice of music too and hope the place remains unchanged for many years to come.

Don't go here for a cheap pint, find a spoons instead.. Go here if you love proper traditional London Pubs with charismatic landlords and fantasic history and ambience. Came across by chance and stayed for three pints. Featured in my London's best pubs book, and rightly so.

An old style, local boozer. Definitely an experience, going through a time warp as you enter. Ignore the negative comments, they just can’t handle it!

This is a pub that is quite literally..inexplicable. I am all for throwbacks to "how things were", but does this place go to far? Well from my experience and point of view, the answer is NO. I love it here. I've been a few times before but this time was a bit different to my other visits. They have a no mobile phone policy for a start, so people talk, fantastic. Of course you can look at your phone from time to time and not be executed, but the best thing you can do is just listen. If you're outgoing and confident get involved in conversation. But if you're an introvert, then just listen. Either way if you accept this pub for what it is, you'll love it. If you're a digital/technology freak you'll probably hate it. Personally I love it and no matter what sort of person you are, I think this pub has something for everyone. Except for those people glued to their phones, if you're that person, then you probably should avoid this place.

Love this pub. Straight talking owner and staff. Love them. Don’t go if you are looking for a bargain priced beer. You are in Knightsbridge/Belgrado’s after all. Open fire and real character.
