Arguably the best halwa poori in London! Best to get there early (before 8am) to avoid queues. Also the sweets and mithai are awesome!

I absolutely love Al Kareem Halwa Puri and Sweet Shop! This has been our go-to halwa puri spot in the UK since 2012. Back in our London days, weekends were all about indulging in their delicious halwa puri. Even now, living in Milton Keynes, we make it a point to visit whenever we can. The taste is simply outstanding, and the customer service is top-notch. The only area they could improve is the ambiance, but that doesn't stop us from enjoying their amazing food and treats.

When you go in, fetch a number ticket straight away if you plan to sit in to eat. At £5 you can't fault the breakfast- two very hot bhaturas, chana masala, onion curry and halva. Filling and fresh. Service is very fast as it is popular.

We went to get poori halwa, but we went late after the time they stopped serving it. However, we requested them to make it , and they did just for us. Amazing service. Lovely staff Would definitely recommend it.

One of the best pathoora and puri places in East London. I would highly recommend - a word of warning, the portions are huge! I would recommend one portion per two people, also the Mango Lassi is a must-buy from here. For £10pp for a full, tasty and amazing breakfast this place is a must. Lovely Achar too, recommend a takeaway as I did.

Excellent and fresh sweet and spicy patties, well cheap priced, worth every penny, I loved the vegetable pattie the most out of all, all sweet products tasted good, not too sweet, made fresh, not burning the stomach afterwards like some other places...

Great place to get your desi breakfast fix. The food is cooked fresh and always hits the spot. Can get a bit busy but worth getting there early.
