Lovely spot with lots of space indoors and outdoors!
Came here for a Sunday roast and making the most of the terrace.
We were well looked after by the team, which was attentive, quick and smiley!
Mixed Roast was actually really good and tasty.. it came with a good amount of veggies, sauces and cauliflower cheese bake.
We added bread, fries and shared the whole lot.
Happy with the quality of it and the price as well:
Will surely come back if I am around Sydenham again!
Great atmosphere and service, clean place. The food was good but in my opinion a more personalized menu should be made respecting tradition. Overall it was a good evening.
The food as always was amazing. Beautiful in presentation and delicious on the tongue.
Waiting time for food on a Sunday wasn't too bad and the atmosphere was pleasant.
I always enjoy coming here and I've never been disappointed.
Thank you Greyhound.
Thank you to Jessica and all the team for making our wedding celebration so special.
We can not thank you enough for the excellent service and food that you provided. Everyone of our party had an excellent time and the venue was perfect. A special thank you to Rafael that was looking after us all night.
You are so lucky to have such an excellent team in the kitchen. The food was fantastic and our compliments goes out to your Head Chef and his team.

Me and my partner had a series of unforgettable nights there during our stay at Sydenham. We ate, drank beer, and had many cocktails. The latter ones could use a bit of improvement. When a certain bartender was on shift, the cocktails were spot on! A great place, which we're looking forward to visiting again!
The best shepherds pie I've ever eaten and served with grilled cabbage which made a nice change and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and welcoming even though they were very busy with a quiz night. Definitely going back to try more of the menu. Thanks greyhound team 😊
Nice, modern style, but with character. Very airy on a warm summer day with lots of outdoor seating. A popular stop for lunch. The ham hock terrine with pickles was perfect as a small nibble for two. Everything else being served around us looked good and empty plates would indicate that it tasted good too. Nice selection of beers. The main toilets are in the basement, but there's an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities on the ground floor - nice and clean, but with a slight whiff of victorian drains - all adds to the character! Located on a fairly busy junction, there's plenty to watch. This is the sort of place that I'd like as a local.
Absolutely lovely atmosphere Great Staff brilliant food What can you ask for will be back
Absolutely fantastic food, the lamb and steak especially were amazing, but every course was pretty perfect. Great drink selection and the service was also really good. Has just become our favourite local!
I'm not going to drop my star rating as overall it's a great pub with great staff and superb food, but....yes there is a but. I'm astounded by the fees asked to hire their private room for a party. Please bear in mind as a DJ I would have provided the equipment and music for the party. Whilst I understand it's a 16th birthday and most venues shy away from that. To be quoted £900 for potentially 50 guests and a buffet knocked me over. The room itself isn't really that big either.
It's Sydenham not Kensington.
For context? I'm about to hire a venue in Essex that holds 280 people for £200.....club and pub. It's crazy
Sorry, but I really feel this is a blemish on a great pub :/
