Best breakfast I've had in a very long time! Eggs Royale (smoked salmon, poached egg, blinis, home made hollandaise - yum). Partner enjoyed veggie breakfast. Got served very quickly although it was a Saturday morning and the place was packed (always a good sign). Thought prices reasonable for quality fare. Admittedly I didn't pay as I'd won breakfast for two at local school fete, kindly donated by manager - who later refused payment for my double macchiato tho' not included in prize. Thank you lovely manager and friendly staff. We'll be back!

We regularly visit this place for a coffee and their amazing breakfast sandwich. The staff are friendly and helpful, the coffee is excellent (and we know good coffee, we've lived in NZ) the food is great quality, hard to beat all round!

I love this place. We should all support local businesses like this more! Sod starbucks etc!!

It does GREAT food, at really reasonable prices too. A really good mix. I wouldn't call it a "cafe" as such, it's more of a restaurant. The eggs benny are superb and only like £7!

The decor is beautiful, super chilled and literally feels like you're sitting in the front room of a house.

Big windows mean lots of light, it's cosy for breakfast, lunch and great for working at in the day time with your laptop.

Also the owner is there all the time meaning the service is top notch. HIGHLY recommended.

I am a regular at this place since three years now. This place has always been consistent with the flavors and taste of its food. Service is quick and prompt almost all times leaving no room to complaint on that front. Noe they have a new chef and he has only proved to be a revelation. Food is appealing and appetizing and coffee just the way i like it. Would definitely recommend it to every one!

I recently visited this restaurant. The atmosphere was quite cosy and deccor was quite good with big tables. The prices were also very reasonable. The staff was good and offered excellent service. I would recommend you guys to visit this place when you are around. Also, there is a great clothes shop next door too.

One of my favorite places for a coffee and they serve the best Eggs Benedict in the city. Incorporating some more of my personal choices and my it would make for my perfect Sunday Brunches! We love to visit this place often , service is very welcoming and amicable but the place is always jam packed so might have to struggle for a seat! Another upside - Free WiFi !

It is one of those interesting and independent cafes in London that will draw you in whenever you pass by.
The staff is friendly and courteous.
I went there on a Tuesday morning and was not at all disappointed.
I loved the ambience and the feel.
I had ordered coffee and sat there for 1.5 hours and the staff did not even blink an eye.
The also offer free WiFi.
I am really impressed and will surely visit again.

Lovely place to go for a nice relaxed breakfast. The food is wonderful, especially the egg benedict, which was delightful. The tea, coffee, everything was good. The wines are good too, the service however can be really slow and not very organised. The place has old time charm however, and makes for a memorable breakfast experience.

When in north London, I never give this place a miss! Serving home made breakfast, this place offers a good weekend hangout spot for everybody. Though busy, this place is surely worth a try!
The main things to try out from the menu are the signature pancakes and the quiche which is baked to perfection.
Very tasty!

The Front Room is one of the best spots for breakfast or lunch in the entire area. It’s versatile as you can order anything from a quick round of toast to a gourmet burger. The breakfast menu is solid and covers all bases from a full English to pancakes. I had the eggs benedict which was absolutely delicious, with plenty of rich hollandaise sauce and perfectly poached eggs. I would also highly recommend the front room breakfast, as it’s a great portion, and the sausages are excellent. It’s also a great spot to come to just for a sandwich; you can choose the bread and there’s a great selection of fillings. Try the BLT or veggie delight in ciabatta.

The home cooked feel of the food suits the cafes décor. The walls are covered in shelves which house lots of little trinkets and vases, and the menus are hidden in old hard back books. The whole place actually looks like a front room, so it’s a comfortable environment to come and get on with work in, and have some equally comforting food and coffee!

The Front Room gets highest score from me, I cannot find anything to criticise! The style is cool and relaxed, and despite the small space they have managed to utilise it very well. There is also a lot of seating outside. The staff were very efficient, and it seemed like they enjoyed being there, which does something to the atmosphere in a place.

The absolute best thing I consumed this entire day was their coffee. I only had an Americano with milk on the side, but it tasted so good! I would go so far to say it is the best coffee I've had outside the European continent (a place in Copenhagen still holds the throne, if you wondered).

I had a vegetarian fry-up. It's hard to go wrong with a fry-up, but what I enjoyed about it was that it didn't seem like it was doused in oil and butter. If a chef has to use butter, salt and oil to make the food taste anything, he's doing something wrong. Also had a fresh orange juice. I love a café that offers fresh juices.

I don't usually frequent this area, but I will go back north for the Front Room Café!

The new fit-out of the redoubtable Front Room Cafe looks great and has kept alive the chaotic essence of Tollington Park's liveliest daytime haunt.

I'd heard that the gourmet burger is an underestimated pearler, so on my most recent trip I gave it a go. You can't disturb your Oyster balance in London without some would-be Ronay telling you where the best burgers can be found nowadays, so I'll not grasp at comparatives or try to posit words like patty to turn a comment on a facile sandwich into a Harrier jump-jet instruction manual, but it was simply very good. Y'know, very meaty, lots of juice to lick off the plate when the yummy mummies were otherwise engaged wiping avocado from Prudence and Iphigenia's bibs.

On a weekend getting a table is a bit like trying to cross a motorway when you're in a rush, but that's just because it's a great place to get your hangover brunch. The fry-up is a strength, eggs Benedict also not too bad, and there is always an array of specials on the board that catch your eye.

Service is suitably friendly whilst sometimes ponderous and you should expect to have to ask twice for your second cup of tea, but it's not silver service, after all, and the prices reflect that. So take a newspaper, take a sense of humour, and take whoever deserves to wile away the time with you in a cafe never short of personality.

Great spot, strongly recommended by my mates who live on the road. Have to agree. Incredibly friendly community atmosphere which seemed to permeate through everyone’s experience. A solid veggie breakfast and felt comfortable working, reading, chatting, anything really.

Highly recommend if your in the Frinsbury park area. The location is easy to find and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff is so friendly and fun. I went here for a catch up with a friend and had the breakfast with a Groovy green smoothie. The presentation was lovely and delicious. This is now one of my favourite places to go to if I'm nearby.

The Front Room Cafe was a delight! The food was so delicious. I recommend getting an item from their specials menu. I had their chicken wrap special and it was great. Also, their portions are large and plenty. I was so pleased and the smoothies are wonderful! I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and I'd go back.

Great place for vegetarians and vegans. There are plenty of options for breakfast and lunch. It is not a place to study but is the perfect place to sit, enjoy a coffee with a pastry while you swipe your phone, read or talk to a friend. Very lovely and well attended. Thank you!!
