Smashin' Sunday roast. Delicious and lots of it! I had the pork belly and my wife had the chicken. Kudos to the chef but also very good informal service. Lovely pub!

My first visit to Queens Head . Lovely pub, very friendly. We didn’t eat but what was coming up looked fab. Will definitely be going back 🙂🙂

Newly renovated from being a rock bar, this pub is now a quiet squeaky clean local for people living around Stockwell.

It was not particularly crowded when I went there on a Saturday night (thank god because I was quite hungover) so it was the perfect place to relax and play some board games (who else loves battleship?) without much noise or loud music.

I think it is great place for people who find pubs a bit too rowdy and prefer quieter places where they can chill and have a chat with friends. If you live in the area it's worth going in to check it out.

Great venue for gigs and a good range of beers available. Bar is cashless! Always running out of beer though! Nice little courtyard out the back! I

Good pub with a very good beer selection. Has a little stage area for presumably live acts. Service was fine and staff were friendly. Only issue was the place was a bit cold due to the weather, but I can imagine it being glorious in the summer. Our main reason for visiting was to try the pizza (PickyWops have currently taken over the kitchen). It was absolutely delicious (we got the protein punch and a greenman with stuffed crust) and the trek to Brixton worth it. That said, if we lived closer we'd definitely visit more often just for drinks; the place has a very nice vibe :)

Nice pub with a cozy beer garden. We went during the day and got to take our dog which was nice and they gave us a bowl or water for him.

Good as always and more. The pizza is delicious and doesn't spend ages to arrive. The drinks are average London price, but goog quantity. Clean and with many seats and tables. There is live music every Sunday. Variable genre, but mainly funky, ska and Jazz. Really suggested.

Great vibe at The Sunday Service - afternoon alternative punk entertainment arranged monthly by Fleagle and the South London Punk Collective. January 2022 featured anarchistwood ...

Great little pub with nice atmosphere, a good selection of drinks including ales and ciders. Food is delicious too and not too pricey.

Halfway between Stockwell and Brixton tube this place is easy to get too. I went to see some live music and the pub has a stage down one side. They have a large variety of drinks and the staff were both fast and nice as well, you won't wait ages to get served. They have a food offering but I did not try this. There is a garden to the rear which was busy with plenty of seating. Loos were clean and everything worked. I knocked one star off simply as the lighting for the stage could be improved though it's way better than some other places I have been too. Overall a really nice pub that if you passing is well worth popping into

I only had a drink here but the staff were very friendly and it appeared a clean and well kept pub.
