I stayed here the over my wedding weekend and the whole experience was outstanding. Going for a drink alone the night before and being met by the warmest, friendlist and most genuine staff imaginable was a real treat. Carly who runs the place is a GEM, as is Dell and all the rest - the pub is a real testament to good management and is clearly a very happy workplace. The food is exceptional, really fresh and well-priced. Can't wait to come back again soon. Thank you so much for making my weekend even more special. xxx

The Vic, has been a nice pub and conveniently located, but there wasn’t a welcoming atmosphere or great service until 6 months ago when the management changed. Carly the new manager is a breath of fresh air. The atmosphere is wonderful now. The service is great. Nothing is too much trouble. They have a great balance between a fun itinerary with quiz nights and live music but you can still go and have a nice evening and have space if you dont want the music and events. The food is now great. All fresh and everything down to the sauces are freshly made. A really great local place on our doorstep.

Enjoyed an excellent meals for 4 people. Even though it was a Monday afternoon the service, food and the general atmosphere was jolly fine. The bar woman, waiter and general service interface (same person) managed to deal with nonsense and non nonsense with equal composure. Thank you.
