I stayed here the over my wedding weekend and the whole experience was outstanding. Going for a drink alone the night before and being met by the warmest, friendlist and most genuine staff imaginable was a real treat. Carly who runs the place is a GEM, as is Dell and all the rest - the pub is a real testament to good management and is clearly a very happy workplace. The food is exceptional, really fresh and well-priced. Can't wait to come back again soon. Thank you so much for making my weekend even more special. xxx
The Vic, has been a nice pub and conveniently located, but there wasn’t a welcoming atmosphere or great service until 6 months ago when the management changed. Carly the new manager is a breath of fresh air. The atmosphere is wonderful now. The service is great. Nothing is too much trouble. They have a great balance between a fun itinerary with quiz nights and live music but you can still go and have a nice evening and have space if you dont want the music and events. The food is now great. All fresh and everything down to the sauces are freshly made. A really great local place on our doorstep.
Enjoyed an excellent meals for 4 people. Even though it was a Monday afternoon the service, food and the general atmosphere was jolly fine. The bar woman, waiter and general service interface (same person) managed to deal with nonsense and non nonsense with equal composure. Thank you.
We stayed here for 1 week, and everyday was as consistent as the next. Great food, clean bar, friendly staff, clean rooms.I have never seen a staff work so hard and have such respect and kindness for each other. The manager is a beast! She runs this place with a fist of roses and it shows because it is spotless, friendly, and her staff really like her! I highly recommend.

Brilliant experience. Visited today for a post-funeral gathering, and we were well taken care of by the staff. Great breakfast. I really enjoyed it, and others in the group had lunch options, which looked divine. Personal cocktails and mocktails made to individual preferences as well as great food & drink recommendations too. This is one of the best pub experiences I have had in the last decade by far. Excellent service by all. Keep up the good work!
We arrived before check in, but they were able to hold our bags. Ahmed showed great attitude and positivity towards us! The pub served great food, and the room was cute and clean!
Good pub and atmosphere. I stayed the night there . Didn’t have a drink there because they didn’t take cash so I went up the road to another good pub .
We had a birthday lunch at the Victoria Inn today, the staff were incredible, the best service I’ve had in London in a long time. They went over and above to make sure we were looked after, they were all super friendly and the menu and food were fantastic!! Great pub, we’ll definitely be back!
We spent 11 nights and 2 more on our return from our tour to Scandinavia. We loved the Victoria Inn for its charm, as well as the welcoming manner of all members of staff. They couldn't do more for us. We had a daily welcome after being out for the day, asking where we'd been and where would we like to go the next day, with frequent recommendations on what to see. We felt like we belonged there. We looked forward to our breakfasts, enjoyed all dinners, and the rooms were so comfortable. The location of the hotel is ideal with just a short walk to the Peckham Rye train station. We will definitely be returning.
I have recently moved to the area and have been to the Victoria Twice in one week... not only have the staff been incredibly warm, friendly, helpful and professional, but the food is absolutley incredible. Both times I ate, I walked away incredibly satisfied and on Sunday my dad claimed it was the best Roast Dinner he has ever eaten in a pub restaurant. Can't recommend this place enough!
