Great restaurant in the hart of London. I has Snacks to start, and The oven baked cod, which was perfect for lunch. It was quite on a gloomy winter Monday but I would love to see it humming in the evening. The fresh peppermint tea was a great way to end things.

Amazing restaurant! We hired the Library private dining room for a business event and it was amazing. The food and wine was fantastic, but moreso, the staff were incredibly attentive and kind. Everyone commented that the food was fantastic and the event was a great sucess. Thank you Gezellig!

3 of us came here on Friday evening. The decor is absolutely stunning and creates a really warm and calming atmosphere. I could see through a balcony that there was upstairs with big leather sofas/armchairs but it was reserved for a party so I’d love to return to have a drink there. The staff were attentive and professional. I had the ‘Salt-Baked Celeriac, Malted Wheat and Black Truffle’ £15 for my starter and ‘Halibut and Scallop Bonne Femme, Sparassis Mushroom and Buttered Spinach’ £31 for my main. Both were delicious and very rich in a good way. There a 2 private dining rooms which look perfect for personal or business occasions. This place is great for a special meal or even just drinks.

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere. We were here on a Saturday evening. The bar was pleasant, dinner was exquisite (we had the halibut, the venison and the pork). It was quiet, probably because the restaurant opened recently. We will be back ! An excellent restaurant.

Really delicious and unique meal. Great wines. I had a really lovely quiet working lunch, but I'd happily return for a date as well. Truly a delicious experience. I had the celeriac starter and sole entree. The skate looked wonderful as well.

I've been there with two friends, we had few glasses of wine and an artichoke Negroni, beautifully made. Then we move to the main room, we had different dishes, all of them were beautifully presented and delicious. The wine list is great, wide and with old vintages too. Overall one of the best experience ever in London.

Absolutely delightful. The food was exquisite and the wine selection was rich and wide. The duck was cooked to perfection, as were all of the dishes, and they took special effort to cater to our dietary requirements. I can't praise the staff highly enough, particularly the tall and handsome sommelier. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

I have been twice in the last week. The cocktails are stellar - better than those at Colebrooke Row. Standout dishes for me are the turnip starter, halibut main and melon for pudding. Clever but restrained cooking. Wine list is extremely well chosen and keenly priced. Staff are all delightful.

Just a week after opening and these guys have it nailed. They've managed to create a spacious, but cosy at the same time, dining room with a mezzanine lounge for more intimacy. The bar is perfect for a quick drink after work or cocktails before dinner. And that's before we get to the food! Pulled pork sausage rolls are the perfect bar snack and the main menu is full of classics but with the chefs own spin. Rounded off with a cracking wine list, Gezellig is sure to be the go to restaurant in this part of town.

Just what this area needs. Amazing food and atmosphere and bar snacks to die for. Veal Sweatbread Slider with Truffle Coleslaw is off the charts. One of the best places to drink wine too, really cool list. Young friendly staff. Really enjoyed it.
