Just been in for my first of many coffees. Just started working in the area. Latte with extra shot was strong, but smooth. Muffins were goid. And a social enterprise - another excuse to go back
Super cute café! Been there twice and they make an amazing cappuccino foam (£2,50 for most coffees). The bacon sandwich (£4 or £5,50 with fried eggs) is huge and tasty, and the baked carrot one has really good condiments! The atmosphere is welcoming and it’s not too cold inside either! Bonus points: we saw a squirrel stealing olives from their terrace!
Only downside is the opening times, I wish they were open till 6pm at least, as I’m one of the lots of uni students who get home after 4pm right next door. :(
Nice little café off the main road with nice coffee but but the service wasn't great.
Absolutely fantastic hidden gem in between Peckham and Camberwell! Just off a busy main road is this lovely little cafe, which serves great teas and coffees, and tasty sandwiches. Every time I have been the staff have been friendly, attentive and welcoming. The interior is nice a cosy and the summer there's a big courtyard to enjoy too. All this and a wonderful social enterprise to boot!!

Social enterprise café - indoor seating and a sunny courtyard. It's a relaxed vibe with a breakfast, brunch and sandwich menu that changes weekly as the food is supplied by Fareshare and The Felix Trust. The sandwiches are always on point. They always strive to deliver a vegan option but they are wholly reliant on whatever surplus food that they receive from both projects.
But to counter the comments about slow service and new baristas taking 15 minutes.....this place is run by St Giles. The barista most likely has been given an opportunity via the charity (perhaps the first in their life) to develop and gain skills in a workplace environment. If you want brown dishwater served at speed, go to the nearest Costa. If you want a very decent coffee and don't mind waiting that little longer to satisfy your caffeine fix, you can't go wrong here.
The brewbird breakfast was wonderful, the mushrooms were perfect and the coffe was delicious.
Charming social enterprise cafe with a good outdoor area for the summer. Staff lovely, and food and coffee very pleasant. Evidently good for students too with lunch deals advertised.
What a gorgeous café. Great coffee, lovely staff and welcoming atmosphere. An absolute gem in Camberwell, highly recommend especially if you want somewhere chilled to do some work/reading
