Pretty basic but great location for South Bank. They give you foam earplugs as it's right next to the train tracks which was good. Beds and bedding are basic but clean. Bring your own padlock to use the lockers. Also there are no lifts, just stairs.

excellent location only a 5 min walk from big ben. staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. if you are a light sleeper maybe consider somewhere else as the trains are right next to the building but they give complementary ear plugs and I’ve lived next to the trains the last three years back home so i was used to it. CAN’T beat the location, their breakfast prices (£3), and street vendors just a step out the door after noon.

Excellent location for a first timer in London. The tube is around the corner and you can get to any part of the city within 20 minutes. The rooms were small, and the beds a little uncomfortable yet everything was clean. If you are a light sleeper, your first night will be hell since the rooms face the train tracks. At around 2 AM, things will start to get a little bit quieter, and by your second night you won't even notice the train at all. The hostel does provide earplugs so that's a plus! You have the Thames within a 5 minute walk, and access to the best sunset views in the city!

It’s London after all, breathing costs you a million. This hostel was good for the price (private room with shared toilet). The place is right under or next to the railway so of course it’s loud, the train stops by midnight, that’s fine. The toilet wasn’t the cleanest and it took a few mins to get warm water. It doesn’t include breakfast but in my room there was tea, biscuits a jug of water and a kettle TIP TOP 🔝. The location is good, near London Blackfrias and Big Ben. They charge you to store your luggage after check out.

Very nice service and staff, location was perfect for the price! I loved the pub! But it was very loud at night. Unfortunately the rooms were a little old and their was not a lot storage room! But still clear recommendation!

I had the pleasure of spending 4 wonderful days here. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the charming bar located downstairs. The selection of finest beers and expertly crafted cocktails was a delight for the senses. I had the opportunity to make new friends and engage in captivating conversations, creating lasting memories. Speaking of quality, the affordability of The Walrus Bar & Hostel is truly remarkable, especially considering its prime location. Situated near iconic landmarks such as the London Eye and Tower Bridge, I found myself within walking distance of some of the city's most famous attractions. This unbeatable location allowed me to easily explore London and make the most of my trip.

Brilliant staff, very central, close to Westminster and Waterloo Stations. Room was very comfortable, clean and cozy. If you're a light sleeper (which I'm Not) don't book the private room as it's very close to the train line. Ladies toilets need to be a bit cleaner. Make sure you have a currency card/bank card as they don't accept cash.

The location is perfect. A walk away from a train station, the London eye and numerous embassies. The booking and check-in process is smooth. The rooms are okay, it's a hostel. The service is warm. I've recommended three other friends to the spot so that says a lot. I'll be back.

Great location for those hotel. 10 mn by feet from Big Ben and very close to Waterloo station. The room was quite nice and the bed perfect. You can have a drink in the pub but also take your breakfast in the morning. People working there are quite nice.

The morning manager was friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect for going around and seeing the main sights in London. If you can't sleep being next to a train line you might want to opt out. I have no problems with that so I enjoyed my nights and had fun out in the town. I would stay again.
