Best scrambled eggs in town. Sets you up for the Day in the best possible Way AND the service is very good, fast and efficient which makes a HUGE difference to the whole experience

Had brunch there on Saturday - incredibly wonderful service from all the team there - huge smiles and very helpful. Scrambled eggs were both generous in size and perfectly cooked. Will definitely be going back! Thank you Cafe 40 and see you soon ♥️

Popped in today with my brother and we had a sudden unforeseen which made nearly cancel our order. However, the staff was super comprehensive and served us in the fastest time possible. The chef also agreed on serving a side off-menu, thank you! Great value too. One star off only because they forgot to bring salt and pepper which I took from another empty table and brought us the wrong juice (was still delish). Overall would deffo recommend!!

Done most of the cafes in Richmond and this is the nicest so far. Well for me anyway.
Only popped in for drinks, would of liked lunch but sadly was in a rush .
So first off we were greeted by a nice friendly member of staff. Then our order was taken. It arrived quickly and was very nice. We paid and left.
Nice and simple and no messing....perfect.
But it wasn't just the nice service I liked and the nice cappuccino . It was the decor and how clean it was. Very cozy and warm. Minimal but with a lot of effort.
If I'm in the area again I will be popping in for sure.

This is a lovely little cafe. The atmosphere is very nice and the décor is done to a high standard. The person serving us was very friendly and helpful and the food and hot drink I had was delicious! Overall, I enjoyed every minute being there.

No 40 has to be THE best cafe for coffee in Barnes. As a Melbourne gal , I have lived here for 6 months, and initially despaired over the standard of coffee in Barnes until I found NO 40. I felt like I was home again in Melbourne with high quality well roasted coffee for my daily Flat whites. Plus the staff are just fabulous beautiful people. So sad to leave today. Thank you NO 40 for keeping me in coffee while in Barnes. Sally Arnold.

Coffee, pastries, and a nice selection of breakfast dishes on our visit. Very friendly and a homely atmosphere. Table in the window reserved for the regular breakfast customer and we can see why. Very convenient if you want breakfast on White Hart Road😀
