Bit expensive for what you get. Full English cost £10.80. Nice variety to choose from. Great friendly staff

Wow, what a change; the Embassy has been "gentrified". My last review in 2017 said: "Solid non-pretentious greasy spoon workman's cafe". Now, as well as the traditional English fried breakfast, you can get freshly squeezed OJ, fresh pastries and cakes and pan-fried sea-bream. My plan was to get a bacon & egg roll "to go", but after seeing what's on offer ended up adding a "pastel de nata", fresh OJ and one of the best expressos I've tasted outside of Portugal, so eat in it was. The staff are friendly and approachable and will go that extra mile to give you what you want. Looking forward to my next visit; perhaps the sea-bream?

Stumbled on this cafe near our AirBnb, what a find. Lovely staff, great food AND coffee at a fair price and a good playlist, highly recommended.

Proper place for English and American breakfast. Service is great. Just not my type of food.

This place is a quaint old style English cafe. The little red cafe I call it (as it is painted red on the outside) is situated on the corner of a fairly quite area, not far from Latimer Road Station. You can eat in or take away, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and you can get a mean cup of tea (mean meaning fabulous). It has a nice friendly atmosphere with nice friendly staff and a cozy, homely feel. Go check it out.
