Once you go Black, you can never go back.
The Bleecker Black is the best burger in the world.
It looks deceptively small - costs 10 quid. Not the cheapest burger on the block, but God it's worth every penny.
It's 2 medium rare patties of beef with a slice of black pudding in the middle (sheer genius), with a moderate layer of cheese on top and 2-3 strands of half onion rings. That's all the veggie you'll find on here.
I swear by this burger - I have it once a week without fail. I feel incomplete without it. My boss at work even said (the first time he had it) it was so good he almost pee'd himself.
I've had tons of other burgers - shake shack, motherclucker, mother flipper, all good, big, greasy - could be more value for money, but this, Takes. The. Cake.
The blue burger is my next fav - it's 1 patty of beef, cooked the same way, a generous helping of blue cheese and 1 leaf of lettuce. I find blue cheese and beef a SUPER combination. Also do try the angry fries - chips + blue cheese + hot sauce. Some like it, some don't - i definitely side with the former group.

Good on the go burgers with a relaxed feel which for canary wharf is always a welcome thing. I really like taking my burger and sitting in the park just behind the tube station.
Also would avoid the chips, kind of tasteless and definitely not worth the calories. Just stick to the greasy (in a good way) burger :)
Canary Wharf is a lot of things; financial hub, concrete jungle, bankers paradise. Food destination however it is not; that is until Bleecker Burger decided that it would be the perfect location to open up a temporary branch.
Previously I'd written about how amazing Bleecker Burger were, dishing up arguably the best burgers in London with some pretty amazing sides to boot. Bringing their brand of foodporn to the glitz of the Wharf is bold but such is their quality, it transcends all barriers; anyone can buy into a Bleecker Burger. Anyone.
At the Wharf, you'll find them serving all the favourites including the double cheeseburger and their signature Bleecker Black (double cheeseburger with black pudding) along with sides of skin-on or sweet potato chips.
In an area dominated by chains, it is the rose among thorns of lunch options in the Wharf and is worthy of a visit.

Great straight burger, no frills. Medium rare as it should. Great angry fries with blue cheese! Much needed addition to the poor food choices in Canary Wharf.
Tiny little place doing a roaring trade and you can see why. I had a double cheeseburger and it was excellent. The beef packed so much flavour and was perfectly cooked with a pink tinge as requested. The fries were fine although unspectacular as they were a little soggy but the burger will live in the memory. Nice to see they serve Lost & Grounded beers
BLEECKER BURGER BEST BURGER.
First off positives- burger is top notch, you order on a tablet at the front desk. The bun is soft and fluffy, meat is juicy and succulent (cooked to perfection). Bacon is crispy and delicious, cheese is immaculate, absolutely BANGING.
What can we say, if you’re passing this place it’s an absolute must try.
Only downsides are- very long queue… this obviously depends what time you get here but be prepared for it to be busy. (Sign of quality)
After you order there’s a long wait for your food to be cooked and served. (Sign that it’s all fresh)
Not much seating available inside.
I had pretty high expectations going into this but Bleecker really lived up to expectation. This is a no frills setup for a quick burger and crispy, well sized portions of chips. Don't expect a fancy inside setup and the wait can sometimes be over 10 minutes purely due to the massive volume of customers they serve. Overall would highly recommend it if there is one in your area as these are some of the best in London.
Pleasantly surprised by the burgers here. The burgers didn't look the best, but were mega tasty. We also ordered a portion of house fries to share and it was awesome!
🍽️Food: 5/5

🪑Ambiance: 4/5
📝Notes: Bleecker is such an underrated burger joint! They have authentic delicious burgers as well as crunchy and tasty fries😋 The gentlemen who served me was really chill, he was giving out the orders (I forgot his name) Anyways, back to the food… If you haven’t tried their burgers, you’re missing out. Lastly I remember the music was really chill. I just wish there was more cool visuals like the mural in the restaurant 😍
Not bad. Definitely had better burgers.
Ordered medium, came as well done. Buns are very very small, so disappointed with portion size. It was like eating McDonalds £1 cheeseburger. Service was very slow, 1 person serving food for the first 30 minutes of my waiting. Tasty but won't go again as it's too small for me for that price.
One of the tastiest burgers I've ever had and the Oreo Milkshake was fantastic as well!!
However, the space was VERY crowded with only a few tables. The waitresses seemed to be a bit distressed with all the movement. We also waited 25 minutes for two cheeseburgers, fries and one Oreo Milkshake... I'd rather order and eat at home.
Order a delivery.
The cheeseburger was quite good. Melted cheese, sauce and fresh onion rings. A solid 4/5.
The fries were damp and chewy, went straight in the bin.
The place is tiny, packed with people which will take you some time to find a spot to sit, service is pretty basic, you order via machine, and staff bring the food to your table which is pretty basic.
Burger is nice but not wow in my opinion. If you want something satisfying your hunger, take a double patty since the single one is quite small.
OMG!!! These burgers are dirty delicious. They're just so good. The flavour is on point!
The restaurant is basic, service is swift. None of that matters, it's all about the beef.
I pretty much travelled into Central London to visit the Victoria branch on the pretence of going to a nearby gallery... 😂
