It's harder and harder to find coffee, dark roasted with less sourness. If you prefer bitter and espresso types, this is the place to go!

Like stepping back in time. Old fashioned and wonderfully so. A really peaceful place to sit and contemplate the human traffic of Connaught Street. I find their house blend a bit too bitter/roasted for my tastes in an Americano. I needed sugar and don't usually.

Absolutely amazing coffee and wonderful staff.
Great choice of freshly grounded coffee will definitely be back for some more.
There were also so helpful when I needed assistance with my 12 weeks daughter.

No hesitation giving this coffee shop 5 stars
Such a shame very quiet nowadays in the centre of town and this area Connaught Village used to be so busy but quiet since the Pandemic.
Markus Coffee are so worth supporting their coffee is excellent and they grind it as you need it on the premises, usually get a 500g bag of mixed blend.
So get out support your local business the chap who owns this Muhammed is a nice chap and this is a family run business and their coffee is excellent.

What an absolute gem of a traditional coffee roaster. Marvellous old roasting machines and a huge array of coffees. Sit down café offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the aromas of the coffee at leisure and be treated to some superbly friendly service. A treat.
