Shared an antipasto today, oh my It was simply amazing! Between the two of us we couldn’t finish it all. The food was exquisite, coffee excellent and the staff so attentive and courteous. Loved the kiwi influence.

One of my favourite cafés, I love the historical cute tea pots! And the Ham & cheeseboard is yum!

When I lived in London we used to pop in here whenever near by to get some good coffee. Now on this trip across the board the coffee has been much better but sacred is still worth popping into! They have a distinct NZ flavour with good coffee and lolly cake in the cabinet and everything is delicious!

The first place in London to offer flat white coffee and it is as good now as it was when they first introduced it. Lovely little cafe with a unique vibe to it. Downstairs area used to be far more intimate and quirky, could do with a paint job and a seating rearrangement and the return of the Buddha. Carrot cake is good, although frosting a little too sweet for my taste. The cheesecake is excellent, the cheese scone/bun things are brilliant. Sit outside or downstairs because the stools inside will leave you with a back-ache. Service is good too.

Best cafe in town. I love cafes and spending time in them, and this must be one of London's best!
I come here everytime I am in soho, for the funloving staff, the great seating area downstairs and for their fantastic iced lattes (with ice-cream). I bring my friends, a date, a book, and I have never been dissapointed!

Sacred is one of the few cafes that aims to bring the New Zealand cafe experience to London. I’ve read about Sacred many times before in articles related to the top London coffee shops. I’ve walked pass it many times seeing it being very packed. I’ve never been. Until I met a Kiwi friend who was adamant that I must visit to try their flat white and sausage roll… So I decided to visit on an early Saturday morning to beat the crowd and enjoy some quiet time.

I feel a bit guilty about Sacred. I had heard good things and I had a pretty good coffee there last year but I think I must have been in a bad mood when I went there because I remember not liking the interior and mentally crossing it off in my mind as a p

Sacred Cafe is a lovely little venue for a coffee and a catch up with delightful cakes and cookies. I've had the chocolate brownie and the shortbread cookie, delicious if a little crumbly. Both times I've been here I've wanted to order the colourful little Kiwi cake but haven't, I'm not sure why, so if you've had it do let me know how it is!

The coffee is good but if I had one piece of advice for Sacred Cafe, it's to start getting down with the foam art trend as our latte and cappuccinos didn't have anything exciting on top... Boo. @

One thing London has a number of are street cafes where you can grab a drink with your friends and lazy away for an hour or two. On Wednesday after work, fellow blogger, Pascaline Andrey, and I got together for a drink in Ganton Street and some girlie conversation. Pull up a chair and join us.

If you walk down Carnaby Street in central London, you're likely to spot Sacred Cafe at Ganton Street. There are roughly a dozen or so outdoor tables - perfect for people watching - with further seats inside. You need to order your food and/or drinks at the counter inside the cafe. The wait staff was friendly and yet also a bit forgetful not bringing Pascaline her drink for a good ten minutes, although it was only a glass of white wine*.

*Please note that if you order an alcoholic drink you will need to also purchase food (crisps in a bag will not count) and unfortunately according to Pascaline who had ordered a white wine and some olives neither turned out to be that memorable and over-priced for what she received. I on the other hand thought my green tea (see photo above) was delightful in its charming little tea pot.

There was unfortunately  nothing exceptional about the place and the only thing I remember is the slow service and overpriced olives. Good for a pot of tea and catch up with friends but not where you'll want to grab a drink post-work.

Just off a very busy shopping paradise (or hell) of carnaby is Sacred cafe. A perfect escape from the hussel and bustle. Using New Zealand beans, offers slightly different coffee from the usual Columbian/Guatemalan/Kenyan blends that are seemingly ubiquitous. They make a very good flat white, albeit not the very best in the city.
Staff are very friendly here, and downstairs is a nice retreat with atmospheric lighting and comfy seating, makes a change from most modern cafes with wooden seating with little space to enjoy 15 minutes of escapism. Great place to rest those bag ladened shoulders.

Amazing soya cappuccino! Great customer service! I ordered a decaffeinated cappuccino with soya milk. The milk was sillky and perfectly steamed and the coffee itself was strong and smooth. So many places get the steaming wrong for alternative milks, but this was spot on. The green tea I ordered was well presented and stayed hot for a long time and was the right amount of bitter, as there was a contraption that helped the tea bag stop being submerged in the water for too long.

Cute little cafe. Great coffee so worth a visit. Also had one of their craft beers with honey which was actually pretty good. Staff were friendly and there is a fair few tables where you can sit inside and out.

A very cool café, spilling into the street in the heart of Soho. Great for people watching or chilling with just a coffee. The food is great too. Highly recommended.

A place of tranquility in a sea of chaos. Generous pot of tea too. Though downstairs smelt of toilets.
