Very charming place with beautiful wooden furniture in the nice area of Islington. And a nice and competent crew. Large choice of good wines and various cheese, charcuterie and antipasti.. excellent quality of food. And tasty chocolates for the desert! The atmosphere was chill with great music. If you want to share a good time and have a qualitative dinner, it's the perfect place. I recommend.

Incredible place. I came for a drink with a good friend. The service we received was very friendly and professional. Staff members explained the different wines very well. Friendly atmosphere. The spaces are quite small, but cosy.

Charming owners who are happy to spend time directing you to a wine that works for you and your budget (make sure to check out the wine cellar), sumptuous food and beautiful decor. Perfect date night restaurant.

Such a great atmosphere, on Wednesday they organise a wine tasting : 5 wines for £10 and they take the time to explain each wine! Plus, they have tasty snails :)

Le Cellar is a cosy French tapas and wine bar. We booked for 6 of us and the table, the surface of which is a slice of a tree trunk, was small enough to allow everyone at the table to be included in the conversation, but big enough (just) to fit our drinks and food. The tapas are interesting and presented in a very unusual way. They are tasty but the portions are very small. I'd recommend ordering the cheese platter and charcuterie platter for sharing and then each person can order a couple of tapas that grab their fancy. The bread on the platters will help keep hunger at bay. Highlights were the sashimi and steak tartare.

I would give Le Cellar a 6 stars if I could, great service, amazingly great service, great food... ohhhh the jamón!!!... great wines (go for the wine and cheese flight and take it from there)... and good value for money. Again, 6 stars or more! I will be back! With reinforcements!

Fabulous ambience, wide range of wines geographically as well as just the number, sausages and cheeses. A little expensive hence the 4 stars, 4.5 would be closer.
