Parade Fish Bar

Nice little fish and chip shop on Balham High Road. The owners tell me they have been serving residents of balham for years! Prices are very reasonable (for example large chips, 8 chicken nuggets, 2 sausages and 2 bottles of drink came to £13!) Chips I believe are £3.50 to £4 which is far cheaper than other fish and chip shops in the area. Portion sizes are also very good. They do accept cash and card payment. I believe card payment is a relatively new thing for them. The taste of the food is great, no complaints at all. The only thing I would say is that the interior could do with a bit of a face lift. It does look like going into a fish and chip shop from the 80s when going inside. I also haven't experienced eating in the establishment yet so unable to review this part further. I see that the owners are very hospitable to customers and can be regularly seen speaking with customers which is great. To top it off I have seen that they are now on deliveroo which is awesome for them.
