The Meze

Service was very good, and the interior of the restaurant was very nicely designed if a little cramped. Limited parking on street due to the A20 location, although there are a few extra spaces to the rear. Food was good quality but for this type of restaurant in this area, I was hoping for a little more "bang for our buck". My Mixed Grill and my partner's Ocean Grill were tasty, but each came in at between £25 and £30 and at that price I expected a little more in terms of portion size and variety, although we were provided with ample bread and dips to fill us up. I know margins are tight but even if you're not given more of the meat/fish, rather than leaving empty space on the plate for "presentation" customers would appreciate an extra half cup of rice, costing a matter of pennies, to make sure they're fully satisfied and to feel like they are getting great value. Just some fine tweaks needed to make it great, but otherwise a good dining experience.

Was here with my family last Saturday and we all had an amazing time. The food was good across board - this is usually rare. The drinks were nice, I had the berry blossom and loved it. My starter was grilled prawns, I was pleasantly surprised it came with rice and the sauce was so delicious - had it with some of the complimentary flat breads. The sea bass was one of the best I'd ever had, definitely recommending it.

The service here was very good and attentive. The atmosphere was a nice chilled vibe. The food was lovely however my lamb chop was mostly fat and so was one of my pieces of lamb (i got the mixed grill), the portion of rice that comes with it is quite small. The cocktails were also nice. I’d definitely recommend this place

We had amazing dinner at the Zavi restaurant. Food was beautiful and tasty , Lamb chops and steak was absolutely what we expected. Overall the restaurant spotless and nice atmosphere. Our waiter Embram hope I write down correct. Absolutely stunning service and look after us ! The chef friendly and very nice food . Not sure why ppl complaining , it’s a very small restaurant good vibes and really nice food . Turkey vine was very lovely 😊 first time I tried . We will return 💯 as I would like to try more Turkish food . I am Hungarian and my husband from Mauritius and first time here but we love all the night and colourful food ! Amazing job Embram and chefs!

A friends birthday celebration, she got to reserve the private room. The host/waiter had such a nice genuine energy about him - will definitely be going back. I basically filled up on the cold starters - they were TOO good (esp the aubergine!!). The salmon was so flavourful and juicy. My friend got the seabass (which I snagged a piece of). Mocktails were schweeeet and flowing all night. Free street parking after 7 (if you’re lucky to find a space 😄)

Amazing experience from start to finish. There are so many Turkish restaurants around the area but there is always one that goes the extra mile and sits high above the rest of them… Zavi’s restaurant! I booked this restaurant for a birthday dinner celebration having dined there a few times before. First class customer service from start to finish. The food was as usual on point, plenty of it and freshly prepared. I had so many little quirky requests in order for the dinner party to be special and they accommodated me with every one. These people genuinely care about their customers and this is makes all the difference. The waiters were so professional and patient with us when we had no clue what we were ordering, they took the time to explain certain dishes to us and how we could have them prepared. The vibes and atmosphere in this place just makes you want to come back again and again - nothing beats customer service, good vibes and great food… this place has it in buckets full which is why this will always be my go to restaurant whatever the occasion. Go try it yourself… you will not be disappointed!

Came for my birthday in January. Absolutely loved it!! The vibe was everything. Had a live singer whilst me and my dinner party conversed and laughed and SANG! It was just everything. Food was amazing. Best grill i have had in LONDON. cannot stop recommending this place. Staff was attentive and friendly.
