Was visiting London and stumbled across this place shortly after arriving. It was advertising Sunday lunch, too be fair at a reasonable price of £13.99. The place was also empty which made me feel slightly apprehensive.
So we sat down and ordered our dinner. It took around 20 minute's, which I don't mind if the food is cooked properly.
Out came our Sunday roast and wow, it was fantastic. I genuinely can't explain how good the food was. So if you're in this area then head in here, you won't be disappointed. And to top off our visit the place had a really good British pub feel about it. Superb.
When the guy behind the bar asks "how can I get you drunk?", you know you're in the perfect place. Cracking corner pub off the beaten track which is well worth hunting down. Feels like it's had a refit but plenty of original Carringtons panelling and what not. Decent choice of beers with Brooklyn Defender on at £6.50 which is great value in today's age. Please go if in the area. Well worth it

Food came out a bit slow, maybe 25 minutes or so, but thinking it was made to order and fresh - and the food was good - so happy with that.
Yorkshire puddings big and fluffy, done nicely. I wish there was a little bit more protein (especially for the chicken), tried both the chicken and the beef and both were quite juicy and succulent, cooked well. I think the chicken was quite well done. Overall, quite tasty - comes with mint and horseradish if you fancy, which were both good. Decent meal size, not something that will stuff you, but just perfect and will hit the spot (room for dessert and a starter!)
This is a nice large place with tons of outdoor and indoor seating. Fairly clean and traditional pub style but with a bit of a flair.
Great Sunday lunch basic but good and value for money. The meats were well cooked beef and chicken and very filling. The potatoes were crisp on the outside fluffy on inside. Just the job. Recommend.

Great real ale pub in the backwaters of Camden Town, very close to Camden Road Overground Station. Old School, honest decent boozer. Occasional beer festivals with keen prices.
