Was visiting London and stumbled across this place shortly after arriving. It was advertising Sunday lunch, too be fair at a reasonable price of £13.99. The place was also empty which made me feel slightly apprehensive. So we sat down and ordered our dinner. It took around 20 minute's, which I don't mind if the food is cooked properly. Out came our Sunday roast and wow, it was fantastic. I genuinely can't explain how good the food was. So if you're in this area then head in here, you won't be disappointed. And to top off our visit the place had a really good British pub feel about it. Superb.
When the guy behind the bar asks "how can I get you drunk?", you know you're in the perfect place. Cracking corner pub off the beaten track which is well worth hunting down. Feels like it's had a refit but plenty of original Carringtons panelling and what not. Decent choice of beers with Brooklyn Defender on at £6.50 which is great value in today's age. Please go if in the area. Well worth it
I enjoyed the food here. People were very friendly.
