Amazing!! I regularly stol here for breakfast before 10am when you can have eggs how you like them (scrambled or fried) I have fried eggs on toast (plus extra slice of toast - no salt (large flakes of salt when cooked - so can be too salty and anyway salt is on the table)) and ketchup on the side. The fried eggs are always great I have them sunny side up (and runny). They have those orangey yolks that come from only happy hens! Unbeatable value at £5 as the toast is sourdough and the butter artisan. One of my eggs (you get 2) this morning wasn't runny and without asking I was told that another egg was on its way. This was fabulously runny and delish! Couldn't have a better breakfast for the price. They have water on the table (which I always have when I eat eggs) - but with cake (homemade) and Savouries (ditto) I can recommend the coffee. This is a great place to eat.

Great home made food and friendly staff. Limited selection of hot food but delicious, good sandwiches and fantastic cakes (including the best Victoria sponge - not on the menu every day. You can order whole cakes). Tasty breakfast selection, especially the cardamom bun (healthy options available too!). Popular so can be a bit of a wait at breakfast and lunch time. Lastly, they don't bat an eye when I bring my own lunch box for my takeaway!
