Great buzzing Friday 80s night with DJ. Only let down was food. Ordered 2 separate platters, mixed and nachos. Chased with kitchen staff after an hour only to find out they had been delivered to another table! After another 15 mins 1 platter arrived (with free drink in apology). (Note: if the chicken drumsticks didnt have bones i would think it wasnt real chicken - spongy and soft).
After 15 mins i chased the nachos with kitchen staff. After another 15 mins i got fed up with waiting and asked for refund on the other platter with the young woman who was very apologetic on behalf of the kitchen staff and very professional. The moral of this story is: take your own sandwiches
Walked into this bar in the middle of lunch to use the loo !!! And the atmosphere was so nice we stayed for lunch , the match was on and the girl behind the bar was running around but still she couldn’t be more helpful . We found a seat and our food arrived which was really good and we went off shopping and then returned for dinner the staff where helpful and nice and the price was so good ... a real find in what is an expensive area and well worth a visit .
One of my favorite bars amongst the many I visited during my recent trip.
What I particular liked about them was the bonds theme! They have huge photo frames of Bond put up all over the place and the decor is beautiful. The place has three different dinning areas, making it extremely spacious.
The staff is courteous and extremely friendly, also the service is excellent.
We had ordered Mac & Cheese and chicken pizza. Both the dishes were cooked to sheer perfection & the quality of food was par excellence.
It costed us around 19£ which is quite cheap for such delicious food and service.
Cool place for a couple of drinks with friends. The music is great to keep a conversation and there are plenty of tables to stay for a while.
Prices are okay for a foreigner!
Always crowded in the evenings - it's a place I like going to on weekends for a drink or two. They often have extended happy hours on cocktails and quality of drinks is quite good. The place is a lot cheaper than the other bars around the area such as mews of Mayfair.
Had some drinks and snacks with my colleagues there - the cocktails were really good and we loved the chicken wings and fries with parmesan on top 😍 Staff was very friendly too - George was super attentive and he even came out after us to bring us the umbrellas we forgot under the table!
Enjoyed a few drinks and food at Bonds on a Friday evening. We stopped there on the way home after west End shopping and enroute to the Elizabeth Line at Bond Street station. Good gin collection and nice to see there had some ales on tap. We had an enjoyable "House Sharing" platter for two with some chunky chips as a side, it was more than enough for two but helped to soak up the beer. It's a nice bar but agree with earlier comments the music is too loud to enjoy a good conversation. We appreciate there was a DJ on site and if we had stayed past 8pm it may have been more of a nightclub feel. There were plenty of sport screens around and there is a quiet area downstairs if you wanted peace and quiet but without the atmosphere. Despite this we would still recommend it as a stop off before the train home.
Great atmosphere, nice bar. Food just needed a little extra oomph. Bit more salt was needed on the fish and chips, unfortunately our salt grinder was all out, but the batter was crisp and the peas tasted so fresh! And the sticky toffee pudding was served with vanilla ice cream instead of the clotted cream and fudge ice cream. The granola and almond crumb just tasted like rolled oats, definitely no almonds.
All in all a good place for a drink, not crazy for the food.
Great setting and delicious food. I went in for a quick bite at lunch time and the staff were helpful and friendly. A very vintage pub at the back of Bond Street. 5/5.
Very nice London boozer, nice location, good choice of beers, a good buzz, I really enjoyed my experience.
Popped in for a bit of lunch before heading off to the airport. Fish and chips were lovely and the service was great. She recommended me a lager I've never tried and it was really crisp and tasty.
I’m sat in this busy pub after just eating lunch with a friend. Watching a football match that isn’t too loud on the commentary. After being served super fast by a lovely bartender. Paying reasonable prices for this part of London. It’s a great atmosphere. Bar staff seem happy and attentive. Just one thing. I ordered a burger which was really tasty and hot. Only problem was the actual bun just fell apart as soon as I started to eat it. Two suggestions. Either order better buns, or, toast them a bit before serving. I used to run pubs and restaurants for 16 years a million years ago. We always toasted our buns. Best of luck. And everything else was spot on. Thanks 🙏
Bonds is great. We use the space for business lunch meetings. A good enough ambience that you can have a proper conversation but not quiet so you feel you are the only one in the room. Probably helped by the sports playing on the TVs. Food is always up to scratch. Not the most amazing but the staples are the best. Burgers, sausage and mash and the salad are always done well. Service is good, food arrives quickly staff are friendly. We will continue to come back.
Super expensive, pint of neck oil was an eye watering £7.50 but makes sense considering the location. Good for predrinks before a night out will be back.
Ordered 3 fish and chips, one of the fishes tasted disturbing they changed it with another meal politely-
Ordered pasta with mushroom and spinach, with grilled chicken - it was very good
