Giraffe

Decent! I deliberated about where to go when I finally made it through to the restaurant area, but chose here, even though there was a bit of a queue it seemed (as I was right) that people were quickly seated. It's a good spot to be and you are overlooking those seated waiting to board flights and have the other side to look at other shops. Food tasted great. I went for the Japanese sticky chicken, which was delicious. The other bits on the side, didn't make much difference to me to be honest. Got that and a juice and paid just over £20. Service was good and the waitress was attentive.

Food and drink options were good. Fish and chips were great. Our waitress Teodora was exceptional: knowledgeable about their menus, especially the allergy menus. Food came fast and atmosphere was pleasant. Exceeded our expectations for an airport restaurant. And they had a flight reader board so you could see when your gate posted.

Chloe The bartender was absolutely amazing and friendly! I wish I had more experiences like I did with her service, so professional and kind. She assured that everything was well and even gave me amazing recommendations for food and drinks. I do wish that the managers from the restaurant would be more like the workers and match their energy. All the waitresses and waiters are amazing!

Heathrow Airport is not only huge on its own but has an enormous number of eateries ranging from every type, style and atmosphere imaginable – from high end to lowly hole-in-the-wall types. The selections are simply extraordinary. When departing England through Heathrow, we decided on Giraffe because of their extensive menu and open seating areas. It turned out to be a brilliant choice of eatery where one can have a comfortable and tasty well-prepared and economical breakfast, lunch or dinner overlooking the famous Heathrow runway. The Giraffe menus are diverse with distinct dishes. Breakfast, lunch, dinner of varying styles: British; Indian; American; Mexican; Korean; Turkish; on and on. We decided on having our final Full English Breakfast which consisted of Smoked (English) bacon, a couple of juicy Cumberland sausage, incredible sauteed mushrooms, a roasted tomato, hash browns, toasted white bread and over easy eggs. Very, very good. Good and fast… they have their food serving and processes down to a science. This is definitively a great place to eat while at the airport. Highly recommended, and Kudos Giraffe… a job well done!

We were delighted at how good our last meal of our trip was in the UK at GWK. I had simply delicious fish, chips, and peas. The fish was fresh, breading perfect, crispy and delicious. My daughters and a beef burger and katsu curry. Both good. Our server was Robert was diligent and nice. It took about 20 min. for our food, 10 min. to get a seat. There was a board telling how long the food delivery was taking.
