This is touted as one of the best bakeries in London and now I completely understand why. The portions are generous, as are the proportions of butter used in each bake. Everything I bought was delicious and full of flavour, proper hearty baking.
The location is nice and the food is okay, although there are better places around. The worst part is the service: extremely unpleasant, and it feels like they’re doing you a favour by serving you a coffee that you’re actually paying for. I won’t be coming back. They can keep their cheap coffee at an expensive price.
I got an almond croissant and a piece of babka. They are absolutely amazing. Perfect texture, crispiness, and moisture in the bread. If I ever come near this area again, I’ll definitely revisit and try more stuff. …
