Nice friendly pub with tasty beer that’s not overpriced, a refreshing change for a central London pub. They don’t do food, but are perfectly happy for food purchased at Pret next door to be eaten in the bar. I wish more Central London pubs were like this.

Took my team here for Xmas drinks. I popped in the night before for the first time for a drink with a friend. I asked if they could reserve a table for the following day for team drinks. As promised, when we arrived an area had been reserved. The pub has a homely welcoming vibe and the landlady and staff are very friendly. I can't believe that in the 9+ years I've worked in Kings Cross, I've only just found this hidden gem. Highly recommend this place, and after surviving dry January, I'll be back in there for a drink or two.

Lovely pub. Friendly landlady. Pleasant atmosphere and customers. Great selection of wigs, and Diago the pig is novel. Definitely returning. Hopefully this remains a well kept secret being so close to the station!
