What a find! An old school Cafe with a traditional English menu served to perfection and with a smile! In particular, Their Liver and Bacon with mash and onion gravy is to die for!

One of my favourite greasy spoons. The beans are beansy, the chips are from a non branded company and the coffee is not serviceable. Everyone here is super friendly, (except the art students of course). Ive been going for three years.
The food was served quickly and the staff were polite. However, I was a bit disappointed that my kofta was cooked like a flattened mini burger. It also did not match with the photos shown on the wall.
I will also say the meat portion is on the small side. However, the food tastes freshly cooked. I enjoyed it.
Maybe the BEST fry up I've ever had at a cafe. Usually something is wrong but here everything was done perfectly. Good prices, strong coffee, good quality meat and ingredients. Highly recommended!!!
attracted by awesome pics of dishes, road side tables with glass windows and awning, we decided to have 1 English b/f of standard portion and 1 veggie. They were great. Main ticks: good portion that we took away bread and bacons and didn't have lunch that day, good price, warm hospitality. Here is the reason I would visit again - the cha latte. I had this firstly in Taiwan 10 years ago and several thereafter. This one is the best, though I would ask for half sugar next time.
It is the classic old English breakfast. They'll give you water in miss matched pint glasses and food in dinner school plates. It's a great place for a hangover or a pick me up that won't cost an arm and a leg

This was my local cafe when I was at university years ago and I have so many great memories here with all of my friends. Today I walked in after not having visited for about five years - I was instantly recognised and treated to the kindest, friendliest service ! It made my day ! Really well priced delicious food and great coffee - amazing outdoor seating area to enjoy the sun while you eat. I can’t recommend this place highly enough !
The BEST chai latte I've ever had, nowhere does it as nice as here and unfortunately I don't live in the area otherwise I would be here all the time. Breakfast is lovely too
