Although Davids does not look like the most fancy place from the outside, they serve in my opinion some great shisha and food. The staff are all friendly and have memorised my order now which is always great. The only issue is that recently they have become too busy and sometimes you have to wait 20-30 minutes for table! Although there are many alternatives much closer to where I live, this is my favourite spot!
Great food and great atmosphere at this family owned deli. I have been coming for many months now. Fantastic mix of traditional and modern food and drink, shisha, and there are daily specials (such as the picture below - lamb stuffed aubergine). But the real reason to come here is how friendly the staff are. They are the best people. A+++
Ordered the grilled chicken salad and the english breakfast, then went in person the next day and got the salad again.
The breakfast was nothing to write home about but that salad is absolutely lovely, I'll be getting this over and over for sure.
One major gripe is half of the outdoor seating is for smokers and so as is inevitable, as soon as someone starts smoking you can smell it no matter where you're sat. Pretty big turn-off for me, maybe inside seating suffers from this issue less. Either way, there just should not be smoking seating right by non smoking in 2022.
Just had the perfect breakfast. I’ve been lucky enough to have this place as one of my locals and the brothers that run the deli are a delight to be around. There is a great community vibe here so feels really nice to visit and chat away if I want to. The owners are very happy to do anything for you that might not be on the menu so just ask. Here I ordered scrambled egg, grilled halloumi and avocado with a carrot and ginger juice. All cooked to perfection and so very tasty. But aside from this they have fresh home cooked dishes everyday made with love and on site. Delicious lasagna, moussaka, some Middle Eastern dishes, the best falafel wrap you will land on for miles, sometimes roast marinated chicken, or other meat dishes, lots of salads , just so many dishes I can’t list them all. But if you are not hungry just come for a fresh mint tea or fresh juice and watch the people go by. Oh and our dog is welcome which is great. I highly recommend a visit.
We came back here after 10 years and the food is as delicious as ever. Best humus and felafel in the area, served with lots of fresh vegetables. This is a wonderfully authentic family-owned restaurant in a rapidly gentrifying neighbourhood. The owner is very friendly, if a little intense. We especially recommend the Turkish coffee!
Great food, good shisha and quality prices. The only thing that would be better is if they served alcohol too, but overall really good food and great service.
I visited twice this lovely David,s délice and tried thier food . We were 4 and we all enjoyed food and the shisha ( ask for the favor lemon and Mente) . On the top of all . The owner and the team are very very professional and we had a warm welcome each time. We will be back for sure each time we visit London.
Been coming here for years. All the staff are friendly the food is always fresh and always tasty. Great place for food and shisha.
Just had the mixed meze (vege). Really great. Especially the falafal, the babaganoush and aubergine. All really fresh, great taste, filling but not too heavy, good value too. I'll be eating here again when in the area.
After gym I can come here and get a great salad. They are willing to customise it because they make it fresh. Shisha is good. They have WiFi and plugs if you work remotely. The coffee is great too.
Best shisha Ever blueberry and watermelon came here with mates great environment the staff are amazing and soo friendly especially Hamoudi makes you feel like family. Food is also proper and homemade.
