The Pain Perdue with blueberry compote and crème fraîche takes a "toast" to a new level; so scrumptious, heavenly light and perfectly sweet, while vegetarian, what else can you ask for on a sunny Saturday morning? Location is prefect, but not crowded. Staff are charming, the atmosphere is more than welcoming and lovely and I'm more than happy to write my first review for this gem of a place.

Had a great time at this restaurant. The staff were excellent and showed a real team spirit. The management team were welcoming and relaxed. The food was excellent, and came promptly. Can't fault it.

Ate here on a sunny Sunday afternoon whilst West End Live was still running in Trafalgar square. Cool and tranquil inside after the bustle of Trafalgar Square. Excellent food as always in Cafe Rouge, excellent and attentive service at this quieter time of day (late afternoon).
