Venue: Lahore Spices, Tooting Date of Visit: 19/08/2023 Lahore Spices is a relatively new restaurant compared to it's many competitors that are spread across the street. We visited here to experience what they're capable of. The decor/atmosphere is pleasant and not overly done and customer service was decent Our order (3 customers) included: 4 Poppadoms 1 Mixed Grill 1 Masala Fish 1 Paneer Tikka 1 Meat Dansak 1 Chicken Jalfrezi 5 Tandoori Roti 2 Canned Drinks The food arrived promptly within 15 minutes and was served hot. It wasn't that busy so we couldn't determine how much that affected serving time. The portion sizes are slightly larger than elsewhere yet cost around the same or less. Food tasted very good particularly the Meat Dansak and Chicken Jalfrezi but they were spicier than expected. The Masala Fish needed better presentation. Overall Lahore Spices is a decent place to eat out and I would recommend trying it out. Other places are more expensive it seems but the higher price seems to carry the edge in terms of taste/quality. There is room for improvement which hopefully they'll take in board. Total cost was around £62.70 4/5 Stars

I must say that the team here are the ONLY house to 1. Provide the most consistent service with personable service who 2. With that notion, not forget your custom quickly, like other houses upon the street, and we’ve noticed that big time! 3. Keep it local and forever that way. You heard it here first first folks, check it out, you won’t be disappointed. All the other lesser reviews are nee sayer’s. SIMPLES!

We ordered a custom lamb biryani and Afghani chicken curry, with accompaniments of salad and chutneys for our extended family for this Eid. The food was enjoyed by everyone and in generous quantity. Service was 10/10. We will definitely be going back next time.

Quick cheap curry house open late. Very bright, open feeling. Onions taste great. Lol. Careful. If asking for non spicy it comes non spiced or flavoured. Poppadoms done in batches so come cold and covered in oil. Samosas also batch cooked, clearly microwaved as that the only way to get the warm to the touch outside and boiling inside. Other than that okay value.

Excellent food, really tasty. A bit too chilli hot for kids. The chicken biriyani had hardly any chicken, but found out when we got home as we ordered too much and took some as takeaway. It was a Wednesday around 6.45pm and not many people - a warm spring day! Mixed grill was nice, butter chicken very tasty.

I really love the manager he's a young man for me, but his customer service skills are excellent. He knows what I want and really makes me feel at home. The chops and lamb on the bone are delicious. From Kathleen x

This is a truly outstanding establishment. The new refurb makes it look very fresh. Staff are highly efficient, very attentive and welcoming. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially given the generous portions. The food is absolutely delicious, lots of great flavour and tender meat. I keep trying different stuff on the menu, and nothing disappoints. The Nihari is a particularly exciting dish - lamb on the bone, cooked overnight. You can bring your own booze, which really opens up options
