We enjoyed the food and drink, including introducing English beer to our Czech guest. We appreciated the Free House and especially the availability of Adnams Ghost Ship which we love. The cooking was excellent and the portions were generous (these things don't always go together!). Altogether a pleasant experience and we expect to come again.

Super dog friendly pub with great affordable food. Never disappointed with an Ember inn, food is very much like Green King with affordable options and large portions. The Sunday roast was questionable, looked quite dry and lacking veg, however the burgers are great, juicy and large portion. Loads of pints on offer such as Camden Hells and Pale ales. Dogs are very welcome with treats and water provided at no cost. Free parking, would definitely return and sets a high standard for the Ember inn brand.

Good people work there. You can tell this by the service they give. Every manager from Bertie to Milan will do their best to help you if you have a problem. The staff are always friendly Magda and Marcy are always ready to serve you your dinner or a nice cocktail. They make you feel at home when you walk in as well everyone does. Even the chefs make you feel relaxed. When they come out the kitchen to say hello or grab a tea/coffee. Now the food is good and the price is ok. Its what you would expect from a pub good hearty food nice drink and a warm atmosphere. Ive left a five star review of my local pub, but if i had the opportunity id give better as those who work in the catering and hospitality industry definitely deserve it. Thank you for the great service you give us.
