The meat is tasty, bread is all fresh, the portions are generous and it's not just "drunk kebab" standard - plus, the staff are super friendly, accommodating and very kind to regular customers. I've eaten here for over 4 years. As a sit-down restaurant, it's pretty good - as takeaway, it's amazing.
I've had the wraps, kebab + pita and charcoal grilled chicken wings with rice. The prices are reasonable considering the volume and flexibility of your order. Probably the best kebab I've had in London, though I never felt the need to go anywhere else since I enjoyed this place so much.
Surprisingly good place to eat. Bought a platter from here for just over £20. Came with a little of everything. The wait time was reasonable and I was offered a traditional turkish tea while I waited. Staff were very polite and welcoming. Honestly, great place for food especially if your on a budget.
Freshly cooked & great flavoured food, we had tasty Falafel wraps and chips. I was surprised at how nice the food was (and big portions).
I would recommend ordering directly through their website, delivery was very quick.
Thanks Guys!
Felt hungry after twork so dropped in. Was not expecting much just another kebab shop. But was blown away by the food a service. Food and the service is outstanding 5 star. Best local place i have been to in the area.
Actually very happy with the food, despite being hesitant due to other reviews. Had a quarter pounder burger (£3), houmous (£3) and baclava (£3). The burger was okay, meat was definitely frozen, taste and size were okay. Hummus was great (but too expensive for the size). The highlight was the baclava, it was really great, better than the one I had from Turkey.
CASH ONLY when I visited 2nd July 2019. Enjoyed though not filled by my takeaway shish in pitta tonight. Salad was nice and fresh, not enough garlic sauce but I could have kept an eye out and asked for more. Not enough (though nice and well cooked) chicken for the price of £7.50.
This place is such an unknown gem, it's a shame. The food is as good as you'll find in any large ockasbasi if not better and at an excellent price point. Portions are generous also.
A couple of my friends say it's the best kebab they've ever Had!
outstanding kebab. This is the first time I have been here. The shop and counter is very tidy. The taste is the best I have had so far 10/10
Best Turkish place on Cally Road. You CAN call it a restaurant.
-always fresh ingredients (due to the owner being there all day every day to check standards) and you have most classic Turkish dishes
-has a delivery service
-you are allowed to bring your own alcohol if you want to
-really chilled, efficient and polite staff
-lovely atmosphere with hand painted walls and ceiling and guys often put on Turkish music
-has plenty space for you to sit down and enjoy a meal with friends or family
-always clean loo and clean overall
-guys work late on Friday and the weekend, so you can get some grub on your way through (check hours)
That is about all the points I'd like to make.
Charcoal-grilled chicken and lamb shish, chicken wings, and the hummus with Turkish bread is amazing here. Order with rice; the rice absorbs the flavors from the grilled meats. Hummus is home-made. Add in some baklava to complete a great meal!
