After a busy morning in Finchley Central, my friend from the suburbs and I decided to treat ourselves to Tasties Cafe for a slap up English Breakfast, very reasonably priced and well cooked. Staff were friendly and the place had a nice, pleasant decor and warmth to it. The food was hot and freshly made, no sign of any grease whatsoever. The tea was hot and strong, the way we both like it. The plates, cups, saucers and cutlery were spotless. The rest room was thoroughly clean. We both finished our food up to the last morsel and were completely satisfied after a fulfilling meal. Have been there a few times before and was even recommended by several of our friends. We returned to dine here again today because we had been inclined to go to a different cafe but we were virtually turned away because they hadn't entered the 21st century as they were still only dealing in cash. We would highly recommend the Tasties Cafe without any hesitation, well worth a five star rating.
