In town visiting from Canada, and wanted to experience a local pub, and this was a short walk from our hotel. Loved the atmosphere. Excellent and prompt service.
Absolutely delicious beef pie and extremely warm and friendly service. Everything is homemade from scratch, completely worth the visit and every penny!
Surprisingly empty Pub, very friendly staff, delicious food and drinks served with the speed of light.
Surely comin' back next time.
Gorgeous wood panelled pub with a decent beer selection, and an inventive burger menu.
Edit: a year later I returned here for food! The staff are awesome, really friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy working there :) and the food is excellent (absolutely love how many vegan / vegetarian options there are!)
We both got a burger, and I got a pie whilst my friend got mac and cheese. Technically four mains but we were hungry and it all sounded great. Happy to report the quality lived up to the hype 😄 all very fresh, flavoursome, well presented. Can't wait to come back!
Can't fault the beer selection either. Great range of draught and bottles!
We had frozen daiquiri that was super nice, barman was super friendly and gave us great service
I took a group of 26 here for dinner tonight, booked at the last minute, and it was wonderful! The staff couldn't have been lovelier and more accommodating. The food was excellent and everyone was very happy! Definitely recommend for any occasion.
Had tea inside. Clean, good service, standard pub fare, though done well. Clean toilets. The location was good for where we were headed. We would return
Great little pub with cold drinks and hot food. We both had one of the daily specials and really enjoyed them. Servings were very large.
The two servers were amazing.

Delicious food! Sweet potato pie was incredible. Dailey specials of meatball Mac and cheese and blackened chicken were amazing. Excellent value from a fabulous chef.
