Hjem is a small cafe that serves different types of coffee and also has some pastries to choose from.
If you want to dine inside, you might not be lucky enough to get a table because the seating area is a little too tiny.
We had a cheese croissant with a black amaricano and a hot latte, both of which were good. 👍🏼

As a Dane, my opinion about Danish cafes in London will always be on the biased side - rightfully so in this case.
From the moment you step into Hjem Kensington, you are immediately greeted by a warm and “Hyggelig” atmosphere.
While the cafe does get jampacked on a Saturday and Sunday, their cardamom buns are incredibly delicious and I would highly recommend them!
For studying/working there I would recommend going on a weekday!

My friend and i l had cappuccino and latte. We both really enjoyed the coffee. The coffee and oat milk blended beautifully. I would really want to revisit to try out their cake and sourdough bread.

As a local, this is where I get my coffee. In fact I recently moved 1km further away and still make the journey through the park regularly for this coffee. They serve delicious homemade almond milk, even though they don’t really advertise the fact.

Great neighbourhood coffee shop that is tucked away in the residential streets of London. Their flat white is well made and wakes you up in the morning. The baked goods are fresh and tasty, highly recommend the cardamom bun. The atmosphere is laid back, with an outdoor vibe. We love drinking our coffee while sitting on the parkette ledge or bench outside the shop.

One of my favourite coffee shops in London. They have the best location in the midst of residential streets, so sitting outside is quiet and laid-back. Their coffee and baked good are awesome! If I’m not on the bench outside, I’m sitting on the ledge opposite their storefront. Such a great way to start the day!

Had a really great lunch at Hjem Kensington - both food and coffee were tasty! Couldn't resist getting another cup of Americano after finishing my flat white in such a relaxing afternoon. Will be back in a little while!

I had the most enjoyable experience here.
The coffee was average, and I didn’t get a pastry, sadly.
But I struck up conversation with other patrons sitting near me and we talked for an hour. A native Londoner and another tourist, from Germany. A space like this that allows for spontaneous interactions like that are precious.
The local told me that sometimes the minor royals will come here, it’s fairly close to many famous peoples homes. So stick around long enough you might have a sighting!

Great coffee and their pastries are phenomenal as well! I’d expect a little wait if you plan to eat inside, but if you are ok sitting outside there is some seating in the round bout. Get the Caramel Coconut Cake, and a Cardamom roll, they’re very fresh. Beautiful quaint little area to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Recommended for sure!

I visited Hjem Kensington and I have to say, they have the most delicious cinnamon bun in the city! It was warm, soft, and perfectly spiced. Not only that, but their coffee is excellent - rich, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The atmosphere inside the cafe is cozy and welcoming. The staff are friendly and attentive, making for a great overall experience. I highly recommend stopping by Hjem Kensington for a treat and a cup of coffee - you won't be disappointed!"
