Best place in green lanes for breakfast, lunch, brunch, coffees and drinks. The staff are exceptionally attentive and friendly. I highly recommend. Great spot with kids play area child friendly and DJ Fridays!

I absolutely love the place as I go there quite often during my weekends with friends, I find it absolutely beautiful and peaceful to go with anyone you want. Staff is welcoming and friendly. I really enjoy it and will keep going there for sure

Really lovey spot for a tea/coffee. The hummus and chips are a yummy snack too. Friendly staff. Great places to take toddlers/infant school age - lovely little play area

I’m an actor and every week I come here to learn lines and have a coffee. The atmosphere is lovely; chilled music that isn’t too loud and charming decor. Everyone who works here is super attentive and friendly, the juices are totally fresh (you can literally see them juicing the fruit from scratch behind the bar) and the food is delicious and elegantly presented. You can get a nice brunch for not too much, making it the perfect place to go if you’re hungover or just need to chill. Never been here for cocktails but I definitely intend to one night. All in all, a brilliant cafe and bar; whether you want coffee and a work environment or drinks with friends, Beans and Barley is North London’s best kept secret.

Hosted our 3 year old birthday party last week and I must say it was a delightful experience from booking to meal. Management is kind and accommodating, the staff is efficient, friendly and the decor is exquisite. We ordered sharers and kids meals and everything was delicious, especially for a bistro cafe.
The kids loved the play area and parents could eat and chat in peace knowing they were safe. Great atmosphere.

Really good breakfast and the waitresses are very polite and helpful. The sausage with egs and cheese, with perfect toasts, delicious. Coffee also well balanced.

Lovely play area without having to compromise on adult restaurant/sitting area which is also very nice with comfortable chairs and tables. We had a lovely time with our toddler and food was reasonably priced and great staff.

OMG so good. I came here for dinner last night, had possibly the best chicken wrap I’ve ever had on my life. It was so good I came back for a full English breakfast this morning, and that was just as good as dinner - if not better. Great coffee too and can’t recommend the freshly squeezed juice enough. Add to that great service and atmosphere. Will quickly become my regular.
