Ashbee's Wine Bar - London - Photo album

Love that place. It's easy to miss though because you have to climb down stairs to get there. The fondue is tasty and cheap. The atmosphere is very cozy. The Polish lady who runs it is great too. Strangely enough, on one occasion, I wanted to go there with friends but it was closed because they had
Don't get intimidated by this small, dusty, old fashioned restaurant, the first look is misleading. After this unwelcoming narrow stairs, you will find a wine bar serving decent French food ( good but not all home made I guess) for quite cheap prices. The wine selection is impressive and the owner,
If you're looking for a chic, modern wine bar, this is not your place. But if you're looking for an evening filled with great stories, interesting people and a well considered wine list in one of the most authentic watering holes in London, this place is for you. Elisabeth couldn't be a more graciou
Down an alley and then down a small staircase is one of London's hidden gems. Probably the best cheese fondue in the city, and still less than £6 a head. Beware though, you might end up spending twice that because it's so good you'll want seconds. 60s and 70s music, 60s decor, and an amazing Owner/M
A place lost in time, but at the right time. There is a great wine selection here at very affordable rates. It's a place that really takes you out of London and into continental Europe. Definitely recommend for a date or group of friends who are into wine.
Stayed in Earl’s Court area both times in London. Stumbled on Ashbee’s the first time, went back on purpose the next time. All the reviews are spot on. Great wine at great prices. Elizabeth is a gem if you take the time to talk with her. The space is full of character, but may be off putti
Had some of the best moments in my life here when I lived in London. Elisabeth is the best host, and the Swiss cheese fondue doesn’t disappoint. I’m tearing up just thinking about the place...
A unique experience. It beats any Broadway show! Long live Elizabeth! (If you like Starbucks coffee and cueing in line for madame Tussaud, stay away)
The owner, a Polish lady, is a charming jewel on earls court. Intimate wine bar set up perfectly for conversation and the like.
It is well designed under-ground wine bar, age range is 40-50, prices are reasonable
Fantastic wine bar with such a likeable old lady serving a fantastic array of wines at very fair prices for Earl's Court
Lovely cosy wine bar. Great value cheese fondue, Gruyere and Emmental
A little off putting and scary but surprisingly good wine selection and great cheese fondue for the price.
Best hidden gem of all London. Feels a bit odd when you first arrive, but stick with it.
A little hidden gem with a great wine list and attentive service.
A great, little basement restaurant. A hidden gem for a home cooked meal!
It's a quite good place for break hours n get a cup coffe here
