Absolutely amazing restaurant: great food, great wine, great atmosphere. Charming staff too. I loved this place!
Nice place. Looks good, the smoking smells great like an old country pub, decent waiting staff, and most importantly the food is tasty. A little on the nouvelle cuisine side though. Quantity has a quality all of its own you know.
Amazing tastes and decor, great service. Our reservations were at 15:00 and unfortunately the kitchen closes at 15:00 but the manager and staff were extremely accommodating and took our orders. For starters we had the scallops with pistachio and masala which were delicious. The red house wine was perfect for a relaxing afternoon after shopping at Harrods. For the main course we had the 60 day aged sirloin which was fantastic, especially with the anchovie hollandaise sauce. We also had a side dish of vegetables grilled to perfection - al dente if they were pasta. Finally we were too full to go for the wonderful dessert menu, most likely next time. Thank you very much for a wonderful afternoon.
Went for brunch and we had the steak with fried eggs and the fish with poached eggs and they were both delicious! I was suprised that it was pretty empty as thought that the food quality was superb so assume that brunch not widely known. Service was great too. Only giving it four stars because dessert was not great, ordered the salted caramel tart that came with sour cream but didn’t enjoy that as much as the mains.
The venue is spacious and modern, loved the open plan with the kitchen in plain sight. Think it would be a good place for large groups as well.
We were passing by this place, stopped due to interior and hen of the woods in the menu. Guys are extremely friendly (and dog friendly too!). Food was delicious, wine list is a bliss.
Went to this newly opened restaurant for lunch and it was wonderful place to spend it. The layout is good and it’s wonderful to see the food being prepared. The design of the restaurant is sleek but nothing too wild.
Nice food, the olives were amazing I had the sea bass and it was beautifully cooked and the prawns were wonderful. Good wine and they do a glass size that is perfect for lunchtime. The staff are great. The only downside is that the pricing is maybe a little high, especially for a lunchtime menu.
Loved it! Cracking Porterhouse for 2 cooked on the open hearth. The tables are large and well spaced out, the service was excellent and the restaurant is really cool and relaxed. A great addition to Shoreditch and I look forward to going back to sample more of the menu as it all looked delicious.
Really delicious brunch. Slightly out of the way which meant it was quiet - perfect for me. Definitely worth the extra walk. Friendly and quick service and some refreshing Bloody Marys helped to make this a 5 star experience!
What an awesome all round experience this was.
We came for a late lunch and it was possibly the most awkward time for all the staff, right when they probably would have joined a break between lunch and dinner but they were nothing but accommodating.
The food was epic, every dish was a delight, especially the pork which isn’t my fave meat normally but the miso mustard and sauce was incredible.
The turnip in goose fat was amazing, as were all the starters. Genuinely nothing was anything other than super tasty. Especially if you’re a sharer.
Plus the wine was about £30 for a bottle of house - very reasonable for this quality of restaurant, and the bill for 3+ hours of dining and drinking was about £90 per head. Shame that the staff don’t get the tip if it’s added on to the bill - never quite understand that. But it was worth a little extra on top to say thanks. Brilliant
Food here was so good! Definitely worth of going back again.
I really like this place. The food is great and they take great care with vegetables, which is always a great indicator of class
