I went there for lunch with my son. The food was good. I love this pub as nice surroundings and always feel comfortable in there.Been going here for many years. But i must say the last few times i have been the food wasn't very good and they were getting lots of complaints.So im not sure if they have changed the staff etc but food now seems alot better.
On Sunday 21st August we had a surprise gathering to celebrate my dads 80th bday and my daughters 18th bday. We had an excellent afternoon. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you to Donna and all the staff that helped make the day so special. Would highly recommend ��
Lovely sunny evening so early dinner here. Sat in the garden with drinks then headed inside for our meal. Wanted the grilled sea bass but they were out of that so went for the chicken, bacon and avocado salad which was delicious. My friend had the vegan burger which was also good. Forgot to take pics. Good customer service and very dog-friendly. You can use Meerkat Meals here Mon - Thurs.

We made a last minute online booking for 12 people to entertain some relatives from the USA. I received a courtesy call plus an email acknowledgment for the booking. The food was easy to order and was delicious, the variety of drinks fairly extensive and fairly reasonably priced. We had a lovely area to ourselves and had such an enjoyable evening! Special mention to Naomi Campbell and J for their fantastic service! Our cousins were impressed! We’ll be back!!
We had a family meet-up at The Stag and Hounds. It was amazing. They put on a buffet that accommodated various dietary requirements. The atmosphere there is super and the staff attentive without being intrusive. There is a good outside space so the kids could run around. The staff even laid out a track of arrows for the kids to run around - over and above! Food was excellent and the family are all buzzing about the venue!
The place is absolutely wonderful. I frequently visit during lunch breaks and after work, and I've always had a delightful experience without any disappointment.
It boasts a charming beer garden and offers a diverse range of tables to suit various occasions indoors. Additionally, there are a couple of cozy fireplaces for colder days.
Furthermore, they warmly welcome both kids and pets, creating a family-friendly atmosphere. Given the ample space available, those who prefer a quieter setting can easily find a table far away from any commotion.
Can't wait to have a repeat visit, atmosphere and food was absolutely fantastic all topped off by the wonderful waiter were had, Ata! Who quickly made us feel at home, was very engaging and couldn't do enough for our table. Thank you for the very best experience we had.

I can Highly recommend The Stag and Hounds. Benjy, Mandy and the whole team did an amazing job catering for our family gathering. We had a delicious buffet and the variety of food was great. Catered for dietary requirements for everyone in our group.
There is an amazing outdoor area for the kids to play around as well. Great atmosphere and great company made for a memorable lunch and afternoon. Thanks to the Stag and Hounds team for a great afternoon.
