Friendly people, kids love it. What’s not to like?
We visited the Pizza Hut yesterday and had a very good pizza, a lot of salad buffet and the best server: Thank you Jay. A very family friendly place to get good food.
Judging by the constant queues across the road for Franco Manca pizzas, Balham's Pizza Express is really not the place to be seen in, but I'm pretty sure it makes for a better eating experience. You'll always get a seat, a seat with some room around it, you can hear the person talking to you and Pizza Expresses food isn't exactly roughing it. That's the side of the big Balham Pizza Express/Franco Manca debate I'm on, what about you?
Love Balham Pizza Express. The ambience is amazing and staff are extremely friendly and polite. Always happy to cater the guests according to their preferences, allergies etc. The food is delicious and chefs always deliver high quality food, maintaining cleanliness. It’s always clean inc the toilets and walkways. My kids love the desert section and it’s also great place to have birthday parties for the kids.
Every time coming to PE in Balham feels like a little celebration! I'm really pleased with their service and food. New design is gorgeous as well! It's a very nice place with cozy atmosphere, fast and tasty food and my favourite cocktails💕
They also have a lot of vouchers and I appreciate it!
I usually visit this restaurant with my family and friends, and i would recommend you to go there as well!

Had a birthday celebration for our daughters third birthday.
Lovely staff, great food and brilliant atmosphere full of kids for a lovely kids birthday vibe.
My next excursion on the Pizza Express Challenge took me to the Balham branch. This was a stylish restaurant with an interesting layout, including a smaller section at the front with a larger room at the back. The smaller section, where our table was situated, hosts an impressive looking bar. It was marvellous to be joined by five friends from St. Giles for a Saturday soiree.
Quality of food: 17/20 A fine Pollo Pesto with no mushrooms with a satisfying proportion of cheese and chicken!
Staff friendliness and efficiency: 15/20 This is clearly a busy and popular branch and although it took a little time to be served the staff were very efficient.
Cleanliness: 17/20 The restaurant was busy with lots of children but it appeared to be clean and well-looked after.
Atmosphere: 17/20 I liked the illuminated entrance and the bar added a pleasant looking central section to the restaurant.
Overall enjoyment: 17/20
Final Score: 83/100 (A) Excellent
I am a regular customer, and their customer service never fails to surprise me. Fantastic customer service from the whole team! Especially Marco, Servo, Sofiano, Chris and another kind lady that took our order (apologies I didn’t manage to get her name). They made sure everything was all right, lovely to speak to, and offered to help when they saw we were struggling to cut the pizza xD, super attentive, the list is endless!!! I will definitely dine here again. Worth every penny!
I’ve been here quite a few times with my son and the service and food is always excellent. The manager is always welcoming and in particular Grace the waitress is so good with my son that he has a great time! A reliable excellent pizza express - will be back many more times I’m sure!
The pizza Romana was amazing Amazing the service is great the people in are lovely and the most aprishiete lady in the restaurant are Chris . Was pleaser for me and my daughter to eat in. thanks 🙏👍
Had my 19th birthday dinner there and from the minute i walked through the door the staff were welcoming and cheerful, the service was absolutely fantastic, balham pizza express is my favourite pizza express to go to, the food was excellent and service was great and speedy, all the staff are wonderful and very helpful, made the experience so lovely, i would definitely recommend and will continue to dine there. Thank you to all the staff there from the whole of table 15 on 08/07/23 we loved it, you’d re all amazing. thank you for making my birthday dinner so fun and wonderful :)
Food was great as usual. We were served by Chris who was very engaged with our baby. She made her laugh and encouraged her to eat. Chris even showed our baby how to make ice cream, which she loved ❤️ thank you For a great time Chris 😃
