It was our Barts Data Warehouse Christmas team lunch and we all decided to go Rusty Bike pub for our big day . Pub is nice , not so big but provide all what you ask . Surprisingly food was served quicker than we expected and food was great and tasty as we thought .
Staff was very user friendly and drinks were also nice . Also atmosphere was amazing .
What a pity we couldn't find it before because such a nice place was hidden behind the "Mile End " tube station . Unless someone walk right hand side from station they could never find such an amazing place like me I am working for Barts more than a year but never spot such a nice place till my colleague booked this place for our Christmas lunch .
Love this place and would always go there again .
In nutshell " A gem is hidden , need to be discover"
Trendy, great chillout place to visit for a cold beer and delicious Thai food...great starters on the list.
First time coming here and it was fantastic, a really cozy pub with great food. We had the Thai Green Curry and it was just so delicious, with plenty of flavour and heat as well as a great mix of things inside, we opted for the chicken as the protein and paired it with an egg fried rice which went really well together. We also had tea to drink (as we got soaked from the rain) and it was also good. The staff were very quick to serve the food.
Great place for live sports. There is no shortage of screens in the bar and in the area out back. Great selection of beers and added bonus of some tasty Thai food, too.
All sports are shown, but football generally takes priority over other sports calendars. If you pay by card, just keep an eye on transactions, three times they claimed it hadn't gone through when it had. Last time, I got my bank to reclaim money as they were not helpful in resolving. Gets busy and first come, first served for food. Takeaway available.
one of my fave pubs to go and watch football, lots of screens and zones. banging thai menu, i went for the prawn toast as a snack with my pints. could happily eat through the whole menu tho.
this pub has its own electronic screen to order eat in or takeaway food, living in the future.
fully recommend for food and for watching sports!
Great place to have a beer with friends. Didn’t order the food, but looked delicious from what I could see! The Rusty lager is a good pint to have and enjoyed the atmosphere watching the football!
I can't say enough good things about this place! The food is simply delicious, and the service is the best you can get. Even though I've moved away from the area, I keep coming back here for their yummy Thai food.
What sets this bar apart is not just the fantastic food but also the attentive management. They're always working on improving the bar's amenities, creating an even more enjoyable atmosphere.
If you're in the mood for some authentic and tasty Thai dishes, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it! 🌟🍛 🍚🥢
We got two drinks each with a meal between us.
Food (Prawn Pad Thai and Prawn Crackers) and drink (Pink G&T and Vodka Lime Soda) came out quickly and was lovely. The food is definitely a recommended, it was delicious.
The atmosphere was lacking. Unfortunately, this is probably due to the location (right on a busy street) which they can't change. It was also advertised to us as a student venue and it definitely wasn't when we went!
Lovely pub and amazing food!! Very much recommend. However be aware of the haunting, due to a child who died here whilst riding a rusty bike henceforth giving the pub it's fateful name.
Nice vibe, food is okay. The fried rice is good and spicy but a bit wet? Rice crakers were really nice. Close from uni so good location just next to Mile end station.
The beer prices are competitive, so are the food prices! Good place to watch live sport, loads of screens. Tasty Thai food comes out quickly. Well worth the trip!
Great selection of beers at a good price for the location, and you HAVE to have the Thai food they serve here! So good! Curries include rice which is unusual for London, but makes it more reasonably priced.
Beers and pad Thai, what more do you want?? Get down here now!
