Brilliant! Try the mutton rotis as a starter. The biryanis are hot and tasty and a meal for 2 costs 5-10 quid per head. Everyhing is pretty spicy so beware!
Been a customer here for about 5 years. Never had a bad meal from Adchaya. So many good dishes. If you want authentic Sri Lankan cooking, look no further. It's a gem in Merton High Street. Also very good value for money. Highly recommended.
The Mutton Rolls are insane. Only ever been inside once and the staff have always been pleasant.
The best Sri Lankan food in London. I travel miles to come here. Unbelievable prices and portions. This is my home away from home.
I've been here a number of times when I lived in the neighbourhood 10 years ago! The food is amazing and when I went there a few days ago, when I was visiting a friend in that neighborhood, I realised that nothing much has changed except for the reduced seating and the fish cutlets that are now smaller. I bought a seafood puttu, idlis with saambar, sprats netthali pirattal, chicken heart curry, fish cutlets and mutton rolls plus Sri Lankan soft drink bottles such as Necto, Orange Barley and Cream Soda. These reminded me of my childhood as I grew up in Sri Lanka. I took them all back home and enjoyed the food and drinks over the next few days. I had introduced my dentist who works at a clinic in that neighborhood to this food, years ago. He's a friend who loves food from the tropics. My English landlord also loves this food. I like introducing my friends to Sri Lankan food. Adchaya may have changed a bit over the years but the food is as delicious as ever !
Everytime we go past this restaurant we buy the veg roti and potato bonda and it is always 10/10. It is also very good value for money. Will keep going there as long as the roti and bondas taste this way
Nice food.. since 2013 we been going there...the owner was very friendly...
Super tasty chicken kothu and milk hopper for less than a tenner. It doesn't get much better than that for me.
You can tell from the number of people who are ordering or picking up while you wait for the food that it's a good place with return customers.
These dishes tasted exactly like the ones we had off the street vendors in Sri Lanka. So good!
The £6 Vege Thali every Friday is worth every penny. My origins are South Indian and the dishes are spot on. The vadai, rasam and payasam all thrown in with at least 5-6 different vege dishes are really delicious.
The best Sri Lankan food I've had in London! Very friendly and super good value. The bedevilled chicken, fresh coconut sambal and mutton kothu are favourites but I also love all of the small fare in the counter window, delicious.
a no frills restaurant. if you want a homemade kind of authentic indian curry then this is the place to go. their mutton curry and biryanis are exactly how grandmothers would make at home. yes, I am not exaggerating.
