A fantastic selection of interesting bottles/cans and also some good draught beer. The staff were very knowledgeable and the atmosphere was nice and cosy. It's a huge shame they will be closing soon as there's nothing else comparable nearby.

Really like this place. A very friendly, local vibe. 4 or 5 tables inside and another 4-5 outside. Usually has a good selection of beers, typically around £4-5 for a half but that's the going rate for craft beer at a local place these days. Overall great, though I hear it's closing in the new year as the landlord wants to refurbish the property.

Absolutely love it here. Great choice of beer and cider. Always made to feel welcome by the wonderful staff. Lovely outdoor space, which is covered in case it rains but you can also book space inside. I would highly recommend booking at the moment because there is only limited space.

This is more than your average beer shop. I feel like we are spoilt south of the river for quality beer shops. I cannot decided which is the best but The Beer Shop in Nunhead is definitely a contender for the BEST shop let alone beer shop. I love this place. Great atmosphere, awesome people and culinary delights. It's hard to fault the place really. I feel like the shop is an evolutionary step in retail and I'm sure it's been a hard slog making it happen I'm just extremely grateful (and lucky) it was done on my doorstep. Thank-you Beer Shop.

Everything I wanted from a Saturday night drinking hole. Excellent beer selection which included an education on the difference between a cask and a keg (one has gassy bubbles). You'd never get through the full menu but you'd have fun trying. Decked out very nicely with plenty of seats.

The beer is exceptional and they work hard to make it so in ways that other pubs can't do or won't do. The owners and team are really friendly and down to earth. I can think of few places that are better than this to spend some time in and it's great either on your own with a book or with your friends.
